Recent reviews for Yosemite National Park

"Awesome house"

Left on 05/27/2017 for a stay in May 2017
We enjoyed the views in the evening. GREAT location centrally located to visit Yosemite, Kings Canyon, or Sequoia National Park. Good roads with scenic views. Liza responds to any questions quickly and the Caretaker Steve is a new west coast brother. He even called me a few days in advance to let me know the house would be available if I wanted to check in earlier in the day so we could have extra time to sightsee and he told me what roads to travel for the best views on the way in. it's not often you get a call offering to let you check in early. In a word awesome place!!!

"Wonderful Yosemite Getaway!"

Left on 08/02/2017 for a stay in July 2017
We spent 3 nights in this spacious, beautiful house. The bedrooms are roomy and had comfortable queen beds in each room. The bathrooms were large and both had large tubs and showers. This house is located in Yosemite and about 20 minutes from Yosemite valley. We were glad we stayed in the park because the drive outside is quite a trip. We cooked several meals and found the kitchen to be well equipped. If you plan to cook, you might think about buying your groceries outside the park. We bought a cheap ice chest for our cold stuff and planned our meals before we got there. We were glad we did, because the kitchen and dining areas were so nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here.

"Great place to stay in Yosemite"

Left on 06/18/2017 for a stay in June 2017
The Yosemite West area is great for access to Yosemite Valley or Glacier Point (each less than 30 minutes), and is a welcome relief from the crowds. The Serenity Suite was wonderful for its design, amenities - just about anything you could think of, even a coffee grinder - as well as it's location. Mike and Holly even provide maps and guidebooks for Yosemite. We will definitely stay there on future trips to Yosemite. A few caveats that you should be aware of if you go: 1. The internet at the Suite is currently only good for basic email and web-browsing (this may be changing in the near future), and there is no Cable TV, only a DVD player and DVDs. There may be no phone service at the Suite (there is service in Yosemite Valley and at Glacier Point), but there is a landline phone. 2. The nearest markets and restaurants are in Yosemite Valley or Wawona. 3. Plan to go EARLY to either Yosemite Valley or Glacier Point, or you may be turned away (Glacier Point Rd) or have to circle for hours to find parking (Yosemite Valley).

"Peaceful retreat"

Left on 06/26/2017 for a stay in June 2017
House was perfect, just the right size. Beautiful drive to the Park. Pine mountain lake had two fun beaches which we enjoyed. Groveland was experiencing a heatwave and the house was not able to cool adequately so we had a couple of rough nights However we would do it again, we would just check forecast. To be fair I don't think any rentals there could respond to the abnormal temps. Loved our stay

"It is as wonderful as it looks"

This property is as spacious, comfortable, and clean as it looks in the pictures. It was a perfect place to come back to each day after incredible hikes and sight seeing.
