My wife and I and our 2 kids stayed here for 5 nights and we loved the place. Kate is extremely friendly and accommodating. The bedroom has a bed that sleeps two, and there are 2 single beds in the adjoining living area. In addition, When our son came to visit, Kate was kind enough to provide us a cot in the living area for a very small fee. Coffee supplies, cookies, and fresh fruit were in the unit upon our arrival, which really helped us out. Parking is available directly in front of the house and also a few feet away on the street. There are 2 big beautiful dogs outside on her property, but they are not allowed in the rental unit (I loved them, and I usually don't like dogs). By the way, if you will be renting a cell phone, "Orange" has much better reception here than "Cellcom". The rental does not have a washer and dryer in the unit but Kate did our laundry for us and returned it on the same day, for a reasonable fee. This rental is a really great value in Zichron Yaakov, and I would return in a heartbeat.
"Comfortable and quiet location slightly away from the center"

Our family of 4 (2 kids ages 11 and 13) had a very pleasant stay. We appreciated having our own bedroom for the adults and the kids each had a twin bed in the living area. Kate was helpful in directing us to local activities, most especially in how to navigate the local nature park and gardens. The center of Zichron was a short drive away (or a long walk), but we never had trouble finding parking in the center. There is a large grocery store located near the center that met all of our needs. Access to the highway was also easy to make day trips in the area. Kate provides use of the backyard and there is a small table outside the apartment to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple breakfast and dinners (we ate lunch out). Kate had a nice bowl of fruit and snacks waiting, along with milk in the fridge upon our arrival.
Kate does have two large dogs that roam in the yard and on the porch, but they are incredibly sweet and friendly and even our animal adverse son was comfortable around them.
There is good wifi in the apartment and our kids found plenty of options on the cable TV.

From the moment we walked down the steps and into an incredible patio garden the experience of Holiday House was more then I expected !! The suite was not only comfortable , colorful and meticulously clean but also equipped with everything one would need for a home like experience. The kids immediately checked out the wi-fi and used it consistently and without any glitches for our full stay .
Kate and her family were kind and more then approachable if we needed anything and initially we were even greeted with fresh fruit on the alcove table .
The TV in the bedroom and living room worked well and having two available allowed for a bicker free time .
Even though we ate out alot the kitchenette had absolutely everything we needed for meals ...breakfast and some evenings . Plenty of hot water for our showers and wonderful fluffy towels rounded out our day . Air conditioner and ceiling fans were definitely a bonus. The entire suite was filled with Kate's original art work and that was truly a treat . I will be staying there again before my aliyah and would recommend this great vacation suite for anyone .

Great location, personal touches make you feel right at home. We stayed at Holiday House for 3 days, taking day trips to Sea of Galilee, Caesaria, Nazareth. The House is lovely and you can sit outside to enjoy your morning cafe.
Zichron Ya'akov is a beautiful little town, don't miss Nilis for breakfast!

We recently stayed at the Holiday House and had a wonderful time. Accommodations were very comfortable and exactly what we needed to enjoy our stay in Zichron Yaakov. Property is centrally located. Kate is an excellent host and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. We had a convenient place to park our rental car as well as a kitchen for simple meals. Wi-Fi access was excellent. I would highly recommend the Holiday House and I hope to return soon!

We were a group of four - three generations, staying here for a short three day vacation. We all had a wonderful time. The place was clean, the beds wonderful, towels and lines absolutely luxurious, the extra touches of tea, coffee, milk, and a fruit basket so warming. The best without a doubt was the shower - we wanted to take it home with us!!
Kate was very welcoming and accommodating.

The Holiday House by the Nature Reserve is a wonderful place to stay in Zichron Ya'akov. It is a charming one-bedroom apartment attached to the owner's home but with total privacy. The apartment has everything you would want and is very comfortable. The owner Kate is super nice and helpful but not obtrusive in any way, shape or form. I was in Israel for a wedding and also to visit my daughter who is living at a nearby kibbutz and Zichron was the perfect location for me. I didn't know anything about Zichron beforehand and was pleased to discover such a cute town with lots of cute shops and restaurants as well as wineries and places to hike. Kate's place is right by the nature reserve and an easy walk to the center of things. Kate is a fountain of information about all things Israeli and a great resource for local restaurants and shops. She was even able to get me an appointment with a local hairdresser at the last minute. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to visit my daughter.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday House by the Nature Reserve in Zichron Yaakov. Kate was always available with help to get us settled, and advice about the area. We appreciated the little thoughtful touches all over the rental - a fully stocked kitchen (even some cocoa for the kids!),beach towels for our use, games, etc. We found that it was a perfect fit for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young kids). It was a pleasure for me, as well, to have such a riot of color in the tasteful and funky decorations!

We found Kate's holiday house to be cozy, well furnished, comfortable and perfectly located for our purposes.
The area is pretty and very suitable for walking in safety. To us, the most important features were proximity to our childrens' house (8-10 minutes away) and the synagogue we
joined them at(5minutes).
But the house also offered plenty of room for our clothes and modern kitchen facilities for a quick snack when we weren't with family.
If we get back to Zichron Ya'akov in the near future, we would definitely try to stay with Kate again. Price was acceptably moderate, and well-matched to the facility. Read more

This is, in fact not a hotel room, but a small suite which includes a living area and kitchenette separate from the main bedroom. The living area has convertable sofas and could probably sleep several children. Our friends brought us over about 4 in the afternoon, and we were both impressed that the suite was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and had tea, coffee and milk in the fridge available for our use. There were flat screen tv's in both the living and the bed rooms. The bed was very large and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless and had all of the necessary amenities. I will happily return the next time I stay in the area.

The apt had everything we needed, from a nice bathroom, excellent mattress, greast living room/kitchen area and a nice yard - not to mention the very hospitable landlady...very happy we chose this place. Excellent value.

Great host and location. Traveled with my husband and one child, nice to have a fridge and sink. Lovely setting. The bed is a bit small for two adults to sleep (esp one tall one); my husband slept comfortably on the sofa and I slept with my daughter on the bed. Overall, great choice and value.
"Little House made my stay in Zichron all worth the while!"
