Excellent location!!! Close to ski slopes (Camelback, Blue Mountains, BigBoulder), waterparks (Camelbeach, Split Rock-H2O, Kalahari, Aquatopia), biggest skirmish paintball, pocono raceway, white water rafting, Hickory Run state park and our community amenities.
Take a relaxing vacation in the woods! Our cabin can give you the perfect getaway for your family and friends. Come and enjoy the tranquility, the beauty nature has to offer all year round here in the Pocono Mountains -- Towamensing Trails Community.
Our cabin has 4 bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms that can easily fit 10 adults + kids under 12 years old. Main floor with 3 bedrooms (1 queen bed in each) , one main bathroom and one on suite bathroom; downstairs there is a bigger bedroom (1 queen and a full/full size bunk bed), a 1/2 bathroom and a cozy family room. After a long day of adventure - you can relax in the hot tub (5pp), warm up next to a real wood burning fireplace, play pool (8 feet slate) and various board games or watch a movie on a 51' flat screen TV in the family room or smart TV on the main floor. Sit on the deck and relax by watching and listening various birds and wildlife (lots of Deer) or just enjoy some quite time. we have central air for the hot summer nights.
There is something to do for everyone, no matter what time of the year it is! Check out some attractions in the area:
All Year Round:
- Hickory Run State Park (15 min away) that spreads across Pocono Mountains supports many activities, some of which vary seasonally. During the summer months, swimming is available in Sand Spring Lake, which is partially bordered by a huge sand beach, green filed for games, picnic areas, many hiking trails and waterfalls. In winter, the frozen lake can be used for ice skating. Seasonal hunting is permitted in many areas of the park, with white-tailed deer, black bear, and squirrels among the game that may be hunted legally.

Winter: ski areas (Big Boulder -7 min, Camelback- 25 min, Blue Mountains - 25 min), Indoor water park (Split Rock Resort -H2O - 12 min, Kalahari - 25 min, Aquatopia - 25 min), Snow tubing, horse sledding, dog sledding, ice skating and fun sledding at Hickory Run State Park, etc
Summer:
-Towamensing trails community amenities offer a 190 acre lake that has a relaxing sandy beach with lifeguard protected swimming area, Boat rental Area, volleyball courts and playground as well as an outdoor community pool, Community Center, Game room, deck, pavilion, basketball court and tennis courts and the marina. During summer boats and pedal boats can be rented (PA fishing license is required for fishing). The outdoor pool is open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Our vacation home is 3-4 minutes drive from the community amenities.

Response from the owner Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking time to write your review. I would have appreciated if you would have called or emailed me during your stay regarding the hot tub settings. You may have not read the instructions that I provide each renter where I clearly state options on what to do regarding the hot tub temperature if it's high or low. Plus our hot tub maintenance person lives nearby. Each renter (kids/adults) prefers different temperature settings that unfortunately I cannot guess nor control. Our hot tub can go up to 115 which is not safe.
