Description

A 3 bedroom semi-detached house in the country with beautiful mountain views Here you can enjoy peace and quiet, but are only a ten minute drive to the resort town of Kemer, marina and beaches. The property is the owners summer home. It is well furnished and comfortable, with split air-conditioning units in all rooms, with a wood burning stove in the lounge. On the first floor that is fully carpeted are the main bedroom, which has a queen sized bed, large wardrobe and dressing table, with an en-suite bathroom fitted with vanity washbasin unit and a WC. From here there are open views including the top of the second longest and highest cableway in Europe. The second bedroom offers a choice of one or two single beds, or one kingsize bed, as one bed fits under the other. The third bedroom has been turned into an office with desk and computer desk. Here there is a double size pull down sofa bed, and a bookcase with a selection of English reading books. The bathroom although on the small size, is fitted with a Jacuzzi bathtub with hand shower fitted over. There is also a vanity washbasin unit and WC. A marble staircase leads down to the ground floor which is covered with ceramic tiling. There is a cloakroom fitted with vanity washbasin and WC, with the automatic washing machine located in this room.. The well fitted dining/kitchen has a variety of electrical items, including fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, coffee matching and electric kettle. The dining area has a six seater table and chairs and a display unit. The lounge is very comfortable with a six seater sofa, two reclining chairs and several display units. doors from the lounge open into a well lit D/G conservatory fitted with table and chairs. Sliding doors lead out to the enclosed garden that is mostly paved with a small fishpond.

The house is in a village and a 10 minute walk to the local bus stop where you can catch a bus into the resort town of Kemer. The nearest shop is approx 15 mins from the house with the main village shops including a Pharmacy and supermarkets approx a 20 minute walk from the house. The area is very safe and ideal for walking, hiking and mountain bike riding, with an excellent horse ranch about a 40 minutes walk from the house. Although a car is not essential, it is advisable. The nearest airport is Antalya, which is approx a one hour drive from the house. Pick-up and transfers can be arranged, as can car hire. Kemer has two beaches, one is pebbled the other sandy. In the surrounding area are a number of historical sites. A bus from Kemer to the city of Antalya takes around one hour, with the fare approx 2 pounds sterling. From Antalya you can fly up to the magical city of Istanbul in under one hour. Transport costs in Turkey are very reasonable and quite safe. Medical facilities in Kemer are good with two private hospitals, a government hospital and several clinics. As one who has had two operations here, I speak from experience when I say you will find the facilities here better than in many countries.
