VILLA BELINDA | Ideal For Families!

Bogazkent villa

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“It is a great place to stay with family! Definitely recommend it!” We stayed in the villa for more than 2 weeks, and really enjoyed our time there! The house is better in real life than on the pictures (in my opinion) We had extended family with us, in-laws, and children. Great space and a back garden where children were freely running around. Fruit trees are there in the garden, with real lemons, pomegranates, oranges, figs, ...flowers. Big house, space was enough for everyone, huge terrace and a balcony. Special thanks to Ali Duman, he was extremely patient with us and very much helpful! Great service! The sea is about 20-25 mins walking, but we rented a car so it takes 3 mins by car to get there. The beach is fantastic. Not many people, which was very much desirable for us! No tourists!! only nice and friendly local people!!! We enjoyed our time on the beach, made friends... it is kind of a wild beach, but clean, it has parking space, 4 changing wooden rooms, and a shower. There is a market every wednesday, you can buy whatever you want from fruits to clothes, local amazing teas, spices, etc. Also, superstore is about 20mins walking, which is fine! as we all need to exercise and be healthy and strong! You can see so much more when you just walk around! Touristic area is quite far, maybe 40-50 mins walking,,,,in case if you are lonely and want to meet other travellers, there plenty of opportunities and night life, etc.:)) most of them, however, are russians :) Anyway, we had a great time together with the family! and sea was very clean! I could see my toes and fish around . This place is definitely for someone who wants to have some nice time out far from all distractions, big cities, noise, etc.

Seki Cottages with Amazing Pool near Antalya

Antalya cottage

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 5

“Perfect” I went with three friends to stay at these amazing cottages. Our hostess met us with olives picked from her garden and invited us to fresh figs from her trees. This was one of the most relaxing vacations that I have ever taken, in such a beautiful location. It is worth the drive from the airport and I am glad we were away from the crowds in Side. I recommend these cottages unreservedly--for families with kids who love to swim, romancing couples, writers in need of quiet and inspiration, and runners (the trails on the mountain above the house were great!). I will definitely be back!

“The perfect holiday” I cannot fault either this villa or Debbie Warwick of Olive Tree Travel who organised everything for us. Transfer from the airport was prompt and stylish. The villa was spotless and exactly as we had wanted. Elevated, quiet with view to the bay and walkable to the old town. A real bonus were two restaurants on our doorstep (100 yards) in cafes aqua and Vita as well as a mini market. The pool was gin clear and cleaned every morning, the air-conditioning purred away and kept us cool from the 40 degrees heat. The kitchen was well equipped although the restaurants were so cheap we ate out every night. A real bonus were the bathrooms. Being 6'4" I do appreciate large showers with a limitless supply of hot water at pressure. And the beds were comfy too ! We will be back. Thank you Olive Tree Travel.

“Excellent” We had a great time at the asfiya retreat and booked through Truffel who were very helpful.we arrived at the apartment late evening and Nigel was their to greet us ,we were very grateful to have had a welcome pack of food and drink .we stayed in serce which had its own pool which was plenty big enough ,the apartment was very clean and we were provided with bath and beach towels ,the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is walking distance to the beach and town and their is a small supermarket five minutes walk which sells fresh bread and has a very good pharmacy next door.We could walk to the Yali beach club which took about 10 minutes you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas for 10tl each and also has a restaurant, this beach club is very relaxing and one of the best ones.we found some great places to eat .Bread and more which is near the apartments on way into town has excellent food and service is excellent.our other favorite places were cafe vita ,Aqua bar which are on the kalamar road past the asfiya hotel about 10 minute walk and if you go into town try cafe leon, the best desserts and iced coffee.for supermarkets go to the Yali one which is near all the banks they have taxis outside or will offer you free delivery service to your apartment. The market is very good on a Thursday opens about 7am until evening,go to Cafe Ev opposite market set back from road. If you just want drinks go to the Fountain bar in the old town the staff and bar are excellent. We would return to these apartments as they are so convenient and Kalkan is a great resort and we felt very safe .we found a few nice walks into town without having to walk along the main road and their are a few places tucked away behind the kalamar road with great views.Anyone going to this resort will not be dissapointed.

About Antalya Province

Antalya Province

Huge numbers of people used to pass through Antalya – it was known as the gateway to the Turkish Riviera – but, now it’s become a beautiful vacation destination in its own right.

With its unique blend of beaches and traditional Turkish culture, it's the perfect place to stay. Just find your vacation rental on FlipKey and let your adventure begin.

About Antalya Province

At the core of Antalya lies the historic old city district of Kaleici. Explore the classically beautiful town and ancient Ottoman houses, then marvel at how it seamlessly blends with both the Roman-era harbor and modern districts.

This area is steeped in history. You'll find it around every corner. To get a better understanding, go to the famous Kaleici Museum.

Shielded from wind by the Taurus Mountains, Antalya benefits from the hot Mediterranean climate – so make sure you pack your sunscreen!

June, July and August are the hottest months, reaching an astounding 93.6F. So, if that sounds like too much for you, it’s probably best to head out around April or May.

While in Antalya, you should indulge in the native cuisine. Piyaz is one of our favorite dishes – it’s made from tahini, garlic, walnuts and boiled beans. Or, if you want a snack, grida is a good way to go – it's freshly caught fish!

What to do in Antalya Province

For all you culture and history lovers, there's plenty to see.

Antalya's past spans back to the Hellenistic period. The best way to see all the sites – including Hadrian's Gate and the Yivli Minare Mosque – is by taking a historic tour of the city.

If you get a bit tired after a day of sightseeing, head to one of the beautiful golden beaches and soak up the sun. But, if you're still raring to go, try the watersports on offer – the scuba diving is fantastic.

If you've brought the kids – or are just a kid at heart – head to the Beach Park. There's Aqua Land (with hundreds of waterslides to choose from) and Dolphin Land (where you can go see dolphins, sea lions and even white whales).

Still up for exploring? Try heading up to see the Düden Waterfalls. They're astonishing and a great photo op!

Top travel tips for Antalya Province

There are lots of festivals and events held in the city – see if you can catch one. The Antalya Festival is in September and is a great chance to see the locals celebrating their culture.

For a bit of fun, try the trams and light rail line. It's a great way to get around and you'll see the city in all its glory.

Enjoy the culture, the beaches and the natural beauty surrounding Antalya. It's one of the best vacation destinations in Turkey and is constantly developing and growing. Snap up your FlipKey vacation rental today and make the most of this historic town.

Dolluca Villa
Great stay at Villa Dolluca

This was our first visit to Turkey and we chose Kalkan and Olive Tree Travel on the reccomendation of friends. After much debate we opted for a villa rather than apartments as we guessed that the heat over there would drive us to the pool and wanted to be guaranteed botyh shade and sunbeds. Villa Dolluca was the perfect place to spend the holiday. the Villa was beautifully clean and well equipped. Our only comments would be: - the lack of glasses with only 3 large water glasses for 4 people (we had to go out and but more) and for us lilly white brits, - it would have been nice to have a bit more shade at the front of the villa, - the shower in the master bedroom promised more than it delivered although it worked well as a simple shower, the body jets and rain head were just for show! We never tired of the fantastic views from the terrace and from the rooms - it was great to watch the commings and goings in Kalkan harbour from the comfort of a variety of good quality outdoor furniture. All four of us enjoyed having the pool and it was usually a race to be first in afetr comming back from a day out. Having a car was really essential and allowed us just to nip up and down to town as well as go out on our own to other places and attractions in the region. When the heat got too much for us, the bright, spacious and air conditied living room was a comfortable and beautifully furnished space to get some respite. Thank you for a great holiday anthony, Dawn, Lucy and Jamiesee more
Gozcu Villa
One word - Amazing

Nine of us spent a week here early September. Absolutely amazing villa. Even better than in the photos - unrivalled views and we never wanted to leave during the day. Fully equipped kitchen, fantastic bbq and outdoor area and every bedroom very nicely furnished all with en suite. We thought we'd fall out over who got which room but it didn't matter as every bedroom offered something unique ! The men made good use of the games room during the week to take a break from the heat - the villa gets the sun all day from sunrise to sunset and we sat out every evening till sundown. The walk into town was about ten minutes but rough under foot. Taxis were easy to get though we had to use a UK mobile to book daily - around £6 per taxi ride into town. You can email the aupermarket with your order, large or small, and they will deliver within a couple of hours - very convenient. We also got kebabs delivered - even more convenient !! Highly highly recommended. We will defo be booking this place if we return to Kalkan. Has really spoiled us because all future villas we may book elsewhere will be compared to this one !see more
Vanilla Villa
Fantastic villa in beautiful Kalkan

Have just returned from a week in beautiful Kalkan . We booked our accommodation through Olive tree . We were a large party of 9 and Debbie took the time to help us source the right villa to suit our needs and Villa Vanilla fitted the bill perfectly . Having stayed in Kalkan the previous year we knew how hilly it was and this villa situated on Kalamar road was closer to the old town and harbour area and an easier walk . Along Kalamar road itself there were several really nice bars which you could stop off in as you walked along in the evenings and several restaurants and supermarkets within a couple of minutes of the villa . The villa itself was well set out , spacious and with beautiful views from the terraces . Pool was lovely and attracted the sun the whole day . Transfers from the airport , arranged by Olive tree were seamless in a very nice comfortable minibus and very reasonable between 9 of us . We will be back in Kalkan again without a doubt and would stay in Villa vanilla again .see more

Chocolate Blues at Truffle Residences
Mellow Mocca is a Turkish Delight!

The accommodation is in the perfect location in Kalkan. There is no need to hire a car or to pay for taxis. From the main road at the front of the apartments it is a very short level walk to the Old Town restaurants and shops. The bakery up the hill has fantastic fresh bread and is amazing value for money. The bay is visible from the main bedroom balcony. There can not be a better view to greet you every morning than the sparkling blue sea of Kalkan. The apartment itself was clean and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. The pool area was very well maintained. There is not a shallow end in the pool and so arm bands were needed for our non-swimmer but on the positive side it meant that us adults were able to swim properly. The owner greeted us from our transfer taxi. This was incredibly helpful as he was able to show us to and around our apartment. We couldn't fault the accommodation, the location, the weather or the amenities. The Turkish people were incredibly friendly and we definitely hope to be going back sometime in the not too distant future.see more
VILLA BELINDA | Ideal For Families!
a good place for a family holiday

we have stayed at the house for 3 months and enjoyed it a lot. The villa is new, so we were missing some things at the beginning, but the hosts were very hospitable and customer oriented, so everything we needed was added almost immediately. The villa looks exactly as on photo, and the description fully corresponds to what you see in reality. We enjoyed our breakfasts on a little patio every day! The sea is 800 m away, beach is municipal and quite empty, so don't expect to see any sunbeds or other infrastructure there. Decent size grocery store (Migros) is 15 min walking distance, so it is highly recommended to have a car if you stay with kids as we did. There are little stores much closer for something little (water, juice, bread), but you'd still need to do the shopping in a bigger store. There is a market open once a week where you can get vegetables from local farmers (delicious!), but you can also buy them from farmers who drive past the house every 2 days in season - we used it a lot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others with the note that the car is really needed there. thanks the hosts for treating us so warmly!see more
