This unit was about as close to perfect as a one-bedroom, self-catered apartment can be. The size was perfect for two people. It is walkable to the grocery store and restaurants. The views were amazing. The terrace was very private for a dense urban area. Everything was clean. And the maids were very kind and professional. I would recommend spending no fewer than four nights so that you can relax and get your bearings before venturing out from your hub.
The minor issues that made it slightly less than perfect were that the bed was a little hard, the cookware was not the highest quality (mostly a problem for the maids), and the shower head was a little unwieldy, sending water everywhere. These shortcomings should not deter you from staying here. Everything else balances it out.
The only issue we had was with our dreadful booking agent who treated us very badly after not giving us the proper contact information for the property manager and apparently did not provide the property manager (NOX) with our contact information. It cost us almost R500 in mobile phone fees to finally get to the right person, who was fantastic. The unit's owners and the property manager were otherwise exactly as accommodating as they should be (there if you need them). -

Just back from our holidays in Sa where we started in the Cape area. It was the right decision to stay at Camps Bay Terrace Suite, excellent as base for our sightseeing and on walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We loved the apartment, well equipped, lovely decorated and peaceful. We certainly come again!

We stayed in of the apartment during august. The place was ideal as it offered a really cosy environment considering the cold winter in Cape Town. Location was excellent as it is just a few minutes drive to the Table Mountain and a few metres away from the actual Camps Bay where we were spoilt for choice for the diversity of restaurants in the area.

The Terrace Suite far exceeded our expectations. I had traveled to Cape Town before and loved it, but this was the first trip for my partner. I wanted him to love it as much as I did. The Terrace Suite certainly helped with first impressions. His exact words were, wow.
The view is incredible, the Nox staff were very friendly and helpful, and the apartment has everything you could possibly want or need in it. Welcome bottle of wine - check. Extremely fast wireless internet - check. Comfortable bed and sofa - check. Stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, lots of fresh towels - check. It was perfect. Just two minutes from the Camps Bay waterfront and world-class beaches.

My wife and I spent a night at the camps bay terrace suite. It is really well looked after. It has a separate entrance very nicely secured. The view is very nice from suite.

We stayed at the CBT suite on our honeymoon and enjoyed every day.
The apartment has everything you'd need and is very comfortable. When we arrived, we had been left a bunch of roses and some wine as a gift to celebrate our wedding and these were gratefully received - a very thoughtful gesture!
The apartment is as lovely as described on the rental agent's website and is very private despite being part of a large terraced building of a few apartments. The apartment is serviced every day and you can have your laundry done by the staff which is fantastic!
From the apartment it's a 10 minute walk to the beach and the restaurants of Camps Bay and as with most places in the area, the hills are steep, so if you aren't that mobile/energetic, this might not be the place for you. There are also 2 stories of steps down to the apartment so again, if you'd struggle with these, perhaps think again.
Overall, a lovely apartment with great views and every comfort provided. -

We were welcomed to Camps Bay Terrace by a very friendly and helpful Ozzy who showed us everything we needed in the apartment. The owners were also very helpful with a faulty remote control and got us a new one within hours. The washing an ironing service was also excellent.
The apartment was ideal, somewhere to sunbathe and take a cooling dip, with lovely views over quiet Bakoven. Great kitchen so we could make our own breakfast and stay in for meals if we felt like it.
Located so close to Camps Bay we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, the shops and to the restaurants in the evening.
Only very small down side was the stairs down to the apartment - but a great way to get a little exercise on holiday and they actually helped to create the quiet and privacy that the apartment offers.

We stayed in Cbtin mid October and got the benefit of lovely weather for our 7 night stay.
This combined with location and very high quality accomodation and facilities made it a great leg of our S.A.holiday.In addition we were treated like relations rather than paying guests which enhanced the overall experience.
You would be hard pushed to select a better spot in Camp's Bay than CBT.
This will explain why it is booked up well in advance,so go for it if it available.!! -

Initially, climbing down some fairly steep slate steps having passed through two security gates you arrive at the door leading in to the one bedroomed apartment. The vista from both the sitting room and the bedroom areas are exceptional. The warm welcome from the owner, the bottle of wine and the basic essentials - tea, coffee milk and sugar were an excellent and greatly appreciated addition to the accommodation.
A modern kitchen area is of the sitting room and an enclosed bathroom is located off the bedroom. The bedroom has sliding doors out onto a small patio area complete with a comfortably sized plunge pool - All of these facilities make for an excellent moderatly sized accommodation for max 2 persons.
The apartment is located under two other areas of accommodation and on more than one occasion the party revellers above created enough noise to wake us from our sleep in the early hours of the morning - so be careful who is occupying the upper apartment during your stay.
Also there was, at the time of my stay the odd cockroach that was found dead in the kitchen and bathroom area. area. These two issues slightly marred an otherwise amazing location for a stay in the Camps Bay area. -

Fantastic location with table mountain and ocean views, great facilities including barbecue, modern setting, well maintained and serviced. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a quiet, scenic getaway but still close to all the amenities and capetown is only a short drive away!

Great service from the agents, owner and staff. CBT was ideally situated with great views out to sea, just 5 minutes walk down the hill to the beach and restaurants and small supermarket. The apartment was very well presented; equipped with pretty much everything you could need. The small kitchen and brai provided a great alternative to eating out on a couple of evenings. We could watch the sun go down whilst dining on our own little patio. The best thing about CBT - has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Good and friendly service by rental company and owner who lived above. Minor electrical problem resolved promptly. Very well stocked and well appointed apartment with quality fixtures and fittings and with all the possible cooking utentsils you could need plus iron and ironing board etc. Parking on site. Excellent location within walking distance down hill to sea front and supermarket and beach front restaurants. Some steep steps down from road level to reach apartment but we did not find this a problem. Those less mobile mind find this tricky. Beautiful views over bay from all rooms. No complaints at all except for the weather which was unseasonably awful during our stay so we did not use the splash pool as I had anticipated, but hey, you can't have everything ! Would definately recommend this apartment.

The Suite was really nice. When we arrived we had this wunderful view .... which you can enjoy from the dining room, the living room, the sleeping room and the terracce of course.
There was already a little stock of milk, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, vinegar and oil so we were able to enjoy a coffee without going to the supermarket.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come back any time possible..... -

CBT suite is in a superb location and has stunning views over the bay. The suite is furnished and equipped to a high standard and the balcony with plunge pool is a real bonus. The daily service, including free laundry, is excellent. The owners live above and are on hand to help with any problems. We had a minor problem with the power supply; this was dealt with quckly and efficiently causing us no inconvenience.
The apartment location is perfect; within walking distance of Camps Bay beaches, shops and restaurants. Other smaller bays are also 5-10 minutes away on foot.
This is a fantastice apartment for 2 people with all the comforts of a good hotel. The only thing I can say against the property is that the steps down to the apartment might be an issue for anyone with mobilty problems.

Camps Bay is a truly beautiful area of Cape Town. It's in walking distance of restaurants, shops and beaches.
The property was advertised as a bed and breakfast that also included private suites. It was stated that the proprietors, man and wife, were friendly and helpful. I stayed in one of the private suites and it was as advertised. The suite was beautiful and well maintained, with and great view of the ocean. On my first day of a 1 week stay, I met a man believed to be the owner and he was very cold and distant towards me. This would be the last time I would speak to him or anyone else at the property. I rang their suite needing information, but never heard back. I woke up one morning with this man walking past my window. Keep in mind the outside of this suite was privat as well. One afternoon, I went out for a tour of Cape Town and upon my return I discovered that someone, with a key, had entered my room and disturbed a couple of things in my bedroom. Irate, I called and complained to the management company. They called the owners and got back to me with a story of the maid forgetting cleaning items. The maid had cleaned my suite a removed all items before I left for the day. Also, if the story had been true, why would items in my bedroom be disturbed. I remianed there for the rest of my stay, but was very uncomfortable and felt very unsafe.

I cannot respond to the specifics of this incident, as it was back in 2005, but I can tell you that we have moved the staff stairs and screened off these stairs, so now the pool deck area of the CBT Suite is 100% private, and there is never any need for the staff or owners to walk past the suites.
