“Fantastic experience” Me and four friends spent 10 days in this amazing villa. The view is from the terrace is stunning, and it's something I will never forget. There is also a small pool, perfect for those hot summer days. There are 3 great bedrooms, each with it's own shower and bathroom. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The owners were very nice and were always available if we needed anything. Im definitley coming back!

“The best experience ever!” We booked our clients into Hollywood Mansion for approximately 3 weeks in Jan / Feb 2011. They were well taken care of, and completely impressed with the whole experience. It's a guarantee that they wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when returning to Cape Town.

“Beautiful setting, mountain view and wonderful hospitality” Whenever we are in Cape Town we try to stay at the Bayleaf. We love the Lemon Tree room with its gorgeous view of the mountain when you wake up. It is comfortable and tastefully furnished. It feels like home away from home. And we feel safe in this lovely setting. But even more than that, we love the owners of the B&B; - they are so welcoming and such warm and interesting people. They always make our stay there special. The location is perfect - literally a minutes walk from the restaurants and glorious Camps Bay beach. How perfect is that! I can't wait to return again!

“Great Camps Bay location,stellar views” Nox Rentals was a pleasure to work with and the flowers and wine on arrival were a nice touch. Unit is very nice, enjoyed the deck off the bedrooms for views of bay and Table Mountain. Parking garage is on steep angle, tight turning. Recommend automatic transmission. Unit needs some routine maintenance attention-nothing dramatic, but things like safes didn't work,big bug, loose table legs,etc. Kitchen well furnished if you want to cook a few meals. Pool is ok but not heated and no deck chairs. Easy location for major sightseeing and a snap to get down to Camps Bay for great meals.

“Another level.....” I cannot begin to explain the beauty of this location....JUST AMAZING!! Myself and my New Zealand Fiancé stayed during her during December and it exceeded all expectations . The location is just perfect, close enough to the hustle and bustle of Camps Bay bars but far enough away to enough to enjoy the serenity of the mountain and of course the incredible beach. Every night we enjoyed a few glasses of South African wine on the balcony during the most incredible sunsets you will ever see. The building is safe, quiet and is filled with all the mod cons you would expect from a 5-star location ( Nespresso machine with variety of flavours where a great touch). The apartment was spotless and all the furniture/bedding looked brand new, with the crashing waves in the background it was probably one of the best night’s sleep I have had in years! I would recommend this to any international or South African guest looking to visit Cape Town, Nox rentals were a delight to work with and they will definitely be seeing me again.

“One of those 'return to' places!” This past month our family spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at Terrace Lodge, Camps Bay. Before we had even left we were enquiring about availability for this coming year. The apartment is one of those rare finds where one immediately feels at home. It has an old world, historical feel, with its wooden floors and huge sash windows. The uninterrupted view across a vast expanse of ocean is magnificent, tempting one to stay at home rather than explore the sights of Cape Town. Everything was clean and neat, and the staff were extremely efficient and polite. This is definitely one of those places that will draw us back over and over again!

Top Camps Bay travel tips
The best time to visit Camps Bay is during the summer (March to October) for the beach, but truth be told, if the beach is not your main priority, Cape Town is a great year-round destination.
Cape Town is relatively safe compared to many other cities, but it pays to stay vigilant and behave as you would in any other major city.
Boat tours are a huge business in Cape Town and while many may mention Robben Island as part of their itinerary, the only ones that actually land on Robben Island are the ferries operated by the museum.
Despite seeming a bit too touristy, the red double decker hop-on-hop-off bus is excellent value allowing you to tour the city at your own pace for one fixed price. Buy your ticket on Viator and save!
