Located on the beach as you enter the village, Villa Pantai Bali is the first villa on the right, just past the Tourist Centre and carpark. Just back from a week at Villa Pantai and we loved it,great location if you are after a quiet break which we were the villa is great as was the staff and their are some great places to eat in this small village, La rogue which is across the road from the villa was our pick and we tried most of them, they would deliver a cocktail and a coffee to the villa every afternoon at 4.00pm great service and food.
I would have no trouble telling anyone to stay at this villa you will love it.

This really is a stunning villa in a stunning beachfront location. The villa has everything you need and is great for just relaxing or as a base to go exploring the district, or both. We did both. From the minute we entered the villa were amazed at the setting and the scenery. It had the Wow factor! Honestly the pictures on the website don't do it justice. The open plan living and dining area, with the lounge room overlooking the beautiful pool, sun lounge patio, and the beautiful coastal views. The villa is very private too! Wayan the Manager is excellent, she couldn't be anymore helpful. She organised the hire of a car and driver for the week which we would definitely recommend as there is so much to see in Karangasem. All the staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming, and always had a smile on their faces. Candidasa is a lovely tourist village with many great cafes and restaurants, we recommend visiting a few for lunching and dining, although the villa comes with its own cook which was fabulous.
The food provided at the Villa is very good, we ate on many occasions for lunch and evenings and enjoyed every meal. The pool is very nice and there is a Jacuzzi at one end of the pool. The sea view deck was wonderful particularly in the afternoon when the sea breezes came up. Overall my wife and I had a wonderful time at Villa Pantai and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a really relaxing holiday away from the crowds in Kuta.Response from Villa Pantai Bali Management - 02/23/2013

After having a wonderful experience a 2 years ago. This trip was very average. Mostly because the staff were new and not very good. The cooks food was not really up to much at all. The butter was stale on all days inspire of telling the staff. The air conditioner in one of the rooms was continuously leaking.

We are very disappointed that your stay at Villa Pantai this time around was only average.
Yes we do have new staff, but they are far more experienced and pro-active than previously. However, we are perplexed by this comment because at the end of your stay you gave the staff a very substantial tip, which indicated that you were pleased with their service!
Regarding the food prepared by our cook, it is hard to judge when she only prepared one dish - Guacamole - during your stay. As previously, your wife did all the cooking during your time at Villa Pantai.
The butter is always purchased fresh in individual servings. We cannot understand how it could have been stale as it is always refrigerated. However, we will check the butter purchases for freshness in future.
Yes, we did have a small issue with one of the air-conditioners (a blocked pipe) and as you would recall it was fixed the day you reported it!
In future we will ensure our staff are more attentive to our guests.

It was wonderful to arrive at Villa Pantai again and see that it was just as sparkling as the last visit. Welcomed with a tropical drink and cold towel by Wayan and her team we felt right at home again instantly. We couldn't wait to to swim in the pool and relax in the spa with that amazing view out to sea, the surrounding islands and the fishing boats gliding effortlessly through the waves. The house is so lovely it is hard to leave and it would be easy to not venture past the lovely tropical garden.
However, the village has so many interesting little shops, beachside cafés, spas and restaurants that you can enjoy strolling at a leisurely pace and the prices are lower than some other areas in Bali. We enjoyed early morning tai chi on the deck followed by a breakfast of tropical fruits, toast and coffee served by Komang who always has a warm and friendly smile. We had a massage by the pool at sunset and then relaxed on the comfy chairs on the deck with Balinese cakes and tea until it was dark. Our favourite café for lunch is Puri Pandan as it is beachfront, great food with a lovely view and fresh breeze. There are many restaurants to choose from for dinner or just relax and eat in at the villa with a meal prepared by the chef Nengah . We also tried a hamburger with the lot from Gary's Hotdog cafe just across the road, We visited Bloo Lagoon and Patan Bai beaches where we had a buffet style lunch watching the many water activities. Hard to say goodbye but of course we will be back on our next trip. Thank you to all the team that makes Villa Pantai such a memorable holiday! -

In need of a quiet week to recover from a hectic year, we found Villa Pantai, at Candidasa in East Bali.
The ocean front location makes it quite a majestic property, with a view across the pool to the fishing boats on the beach and out to the ever-changing ocean.
The villa is well furnished and thoughtfully set out, with a sense of privacy despite 24 hour staff attendance. The rooms are spacious and offer excellent views from lovely balconies.
The provision of a laptop and complimentary wifi was helpful for us keeping in touch and planning the next phase of our holiday.
We stayed a week, which enabled us to rest and sample several of the restaurants along the quiet but exuberant Candidasa strip.
Laundry service is excellent, and costs little.
Breakfast was more than adequate, and the inclusion of a delightful afternoon tea was a lovely touch.
We appreciated the fact that the service charge was voluntary - this enabled us to provide a tip in keeping with our experience. Additionally, we appreciated the capacity to pay for our stay via direct deposit in australia, thus saving the exorbitant credit card surcharge and foreign transaction fees that can add significantly to a Bali holiday.

Great place to stay - nice and roomy and the staff were lovely.
Didnt get the chance to have a meal cooked at the villa (although the staff offered many times) as there are so many dining options in the town.
Villa and surrounds - including the pool - were always clean.
We did notice that as the villa was located near the the main road there was more traffic noise than we were used to - but managed to lessen this but shutting windows on that side of the house and the bathroom doors.

This property is absoultely fantastic. We got looked after like royalty. The house is beautiful, so modern and in a great location. There is nothing that we wanted for. Our every need was met. The staff were so friendly and helpful and arranged whatever we needed- from day trips, meals, money changing, having my own set of pearls made or a massage/facial at the house. Nothing was too much trouble.
It was the most wonderful relaxing place to stay. We were so sorry we had to leave this magical property. -

Villa Pantai was fantastic in every way!
I have stayed in a few places in Bali but so far villa pantai would be my favourite. The location is perfect(beautiful views)nice and quiet for a lovely relaxing holiday.The staff were so friendly and always available whenever you needed them. The service was great, you have your own private villa surrounded by beautiful gardens and swimming pool.
I stayed at the villa for 12 nights and found it to be extremely relaxing and comfortable.

Our holiday at Villa Pantai Bali was amazing from beginning to end. The Villa is just beautiful and the location is perfect. You are located on the main street of Candidasa, so no problem walking to the many, many restaurants and shops in the area. The Villa is big, airy, tastefully furnished and decorated. What really made our stay special was the incredible staff at Villa Pantai Bali. The villa manager, Gusti, is an absolute gem - we wanted to bring him home with us! Nothing was ever too much trouble and I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. It doesn't matter what you need, Gusti will arrange it and the biggest bonus is that he cooks as well. We ate at many of the restaurants in the area, but I have to say, the meals prepared for us by Gusti were by far the best. The villa also has a driver (Ninja) who will take you anywhere you want to go - if you aren't sure of what to do, he and Gusti will work out a schedule for you and tell you the best places to visit. I can't say enough good things about our stay at Villa Pantai - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends and family - book your holiday now - you won't be sorry!

We chose Villa Pantai for a luxury getaway and it was everything we hoped for and made our family celebration truly memorable. The bedrooms and ensuites are large with wonderful views of the sea from the verandahs, downstairs the open living area blends seamlessly with the terrace, pool and beautiful gardens.
The breakfasts were varied, plentiful and the juices feshly made. One evening Gusti and his family cooked a spicy balinese banquet for us which added greatly to our celebrations.
A high wall and gate at the front of the property maintain privacy and cuts down road noise as the villa is directly on the busy main road through Candi Dasa. The beach is at the end of the garden (accessed by a gate and steps) where there are fishing prahus waiting to take one out diving, snorkeling or just for a sail.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in Paradise. The villa is exquisite and beautifully decorated. Absolute beachfront with stunning views of the sea and islands on one side and majestic mountains on the other. The friendly staff took care of all our needs but respected our privacy. They organised massages by the pool at sunset for us which I can thoroughly recommend. The deck overlooking the beach is amazing to do yoga or tai chi early morning or late afternoon. It's also great to just lie back and relax on the comfy chairs and watch the local activity of the fisherman taking their boats out or children frolicking in the waves with their parents. We enjoyed eating out at the local restaurants which are right at the doorstep. Everything is within walking distance which was a huge plus for us. The pool and spa are so inviting and the whole place is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the balcony watching the sun rise. At night you can hear the pleasant sound of the waves lapping on the beach. The majestic trees are a feature that attract beautiful little birds that are lovely to watch and provide shade during the day. I'm already looking forward to my next holiday at Villa Pantai.

We had a wonderful holiday and loved being with you. We were so lucky to stay at such a beautiful Villa. We miss our ice coffees, delicious juices, yummy spring rolls and your wonderful smile.
