Pinehurst, NCJust perfect!
Left on 04/01/2013 for a stay in March 2013
My family originally reserved a Coral Surf unit for 4 nights in order to attend a baseball tournament in which my grandson was playing. Everything was so perfect that we extended our stay for 2 more days. The condo at Coral Surf was beautiful, extremely clean, perfectly located and stocked with everything anyone could possibly need - from cleaning and laundry supplies to every kitchen utensil imaginable. Richard, the manager, went beyond any of our expectations to make sure we were satisfied, comfortable and well attended. He assures his guests that their time at Carolina Beach and Coral Surf will be perfect - and ours was. I will heartily recommend Coral Surf to anyone who is planning a trip to this wonderful beach - and I don't lightly put my name on any endorsement. We are going back in May, probably in June and possibly in July. Rest assured, Coral Surf and Richard will always be part of this destination for us. Thanks for such a great week!

The condo at Coral Surf was perfect for us, The Ocean front unit was clean, upgraded and well maintained. The owner was accessible for questions or problems and very hospitable and welcoming. The neighborhood was very quiet and just minutes from downtown and the lake, you can walk to either location within five minutes. In my opinion this is the perfect location along the beach to rent. With private access onto the beach, This section is quiet and clean with the extra benefit of being close to restaurants and night time entertainment downtown. We really enjoyed our visit to Carolina Beach and would definitely use this rental again.

Unit was a Great location. Carolina Beach downtown is within walking distance. Beach is quiet and there is a life guard near the access. No big rocks like the other end of the island. Beach was clean. Pool was clean. Description of unit was great. Family Oriented and quiet. Private Beach access for Building. Owner was accessible for any questions or problems. Very Hospitable and welcoming. Unit was clean, upgraded, well maintained, quiet and a very welcoming and homey feel. Extra amenities from owner. Even games for adults and children. Awesome experience and will recommend to all my friends and family. The town of Carolina Beach provides a family movie night on Sunday nights at the lake for Free. Fireworks on Thursday nights at the beach. Boardwalk has events almost every day and Tuesday night is kid's night. Awesome vacation and terrific rental. We will definitely use this rental again and again.

We decided at the last minute to visit the beach and looked quickly online to see what we could find. Coral Surf was just what the doctor ordered! Immaculate and ocean front! It was so relaxing for myself and my daughter and son. The whole complex is very clean and neat and unit c-1 had everything we needed. Our host, Richard, was great! He made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the private beach access! We opened the windows and sliding glass doors and didnt even need the a/c! It was great!

We stayed for 3 nights at Coral Surf and the location was perfect. Oceanfront condo with everything we needed and right in the heart of Carolina Beach - walking distance to the boardwalk, many restaurants, and a lovely park with a lake. Richard was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

The trip to Carolina beach was wonderful. We stayed in unit E1 which is right by the entrance to the pool and walkway. It was nice and quiet. It was also fun seeing how many people forgot thier key to get in the private access, but we let them in only after we verified thier unit#. It was so relaxing to just leave the sliding doors open and allow the ocean sounds to put you to sleep. Even though the unit was on the first floor the view was absolutely beautiful, day or night. Richard was very helpful and even mailed my husband shirt back. We didnt spend that musch time on the beach because we had such a wonderful view, but the restaurant Michaels was super!!

Very clean and well kept, it had everything, including games for the grandchildren. The beach was great and not crowded. Wonderful place.

Left on 01/06/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We are from Wisconsin and stayed Dec. 24. 2011 - Jaunary 1, 2012, we had beautiful weather in the high 60's. The deck was so warm to sit on in the morning when it was 50 degree's the sun made it feel like 70. We were able to have the front door open most of the day to hear the surf and feel the ocean breeze. It does not get much better than that for a couple from Wisconsin in December! As for a winter retreat this was the best. The warm sun and wading in the ocean. It was nice to have all of the extra's such as the linen's and paper products so we did not have to transport them from Wisconsin. Richard was such a nice host, if you come take some time for a visit with him. I hope to return to this place next year. I can still hear the ocean even as I look out on the snow fields of Wisconsin. Memories are what make a truly wonderful vacation spot. Coral Surf was a wonderful place to visit at Carolina Beach.

It was our first time staying at the Coral Surf and it was wonderful! Richard Trubia was very respectful and courteous to all needs and made us feel at home! It was very clean with full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, laundry detergant, all eating & kitchen utensils, paper products, cleaning supplies, big oceanfront balcony and just feet from the beach. It was in a great location and close to everything! We plan to stay there again soon!

my friends (who i call sisters) and i had been planning a trip to Wilmington NC for a very long time but couldn't find the "right" place. i wanted to be on the beach. imagine my surprise when i found Coral Surf. the picture was beautiful but the picture didn't do it justice. the place is just beautiful. a full kitchen, washer/dryer and all the amenities and it was just feet from the dunes and beach. there was a large swing on the deck and i fell asleep on it every night listening to the sounds of the ocean, just like in my dreams. and speaking of dreams, Mr. Trubia who rented the unit to us was a "dream" to work with. his only desire is to please his renters. he made himself available to us day or night, pointing out the best restaurants and points of interest. he really is a wonderful person and will make your stay perfect. i can't recommend it enough and i will not stay anywhere else. you shouldn't either.

We enjoyed our stay at Coral Surf! Thank you, Mr. Trubia, for meeting us at the condo and letting us check in a little early. Even thought the weather was a little cool and windy we had fun at the beach and in the pool. My grandsons loved the nearby lake and playground. We will be back!

Left on 07/06/2011 for a stay in April 2011
I stayed here over Easter weekend with my wife, parents, and sister which was roomy enough all of us. It has a fully functional kitchen, which is nice if you're trying to save money by cooking in. You need to be able to climb one flight of stairs, not a problem for me, but I know it bugs some people. You can see the ocean, but not the beach from the balcony due to the height of the sand dunes. The boardwalk and Britt's Donuts are a 15 minute walk from there.
There really aren't many cons to the place and the ones I have are really nit picky. The furnishings are old here, but in great condition. If the latest greatest furniture is your thing, you may consider somewhere else. I can't remember what time we needed to be out the last day, it might have been 9am or 10am. Nonetheless, considering you are responsible for cleaning the whole apartment, another hour or two would have been nice. It might have changed during the last few months, but during Easter the owner only took checks in the mail for deposit. I would strongly recommend he utilize something such as Paypal instead. -
