Description

Enjoy Catalina Island from our large view condominium overlooking the entire village, the Casino, the sea beyond and the mountains too. Relax or explore from your base in our beautiful One Bedroom one Bath home in the Bahia Vista complex on romantic Avalon.

Our home is private and exclusively yours and includes use of the community swimming pool (heated in Summer) and jacuzzi (heated during the season and on week-ends off season.

Since this is our Catalina Island home, we will not be on the island while guests are there. We provide an on island manager to help our guests and we make it very easy for guests to check in.

There is a large plasma 50-inch flat screen High Definition Television set, with Cable and DVD Blu Ray player. The living room features contemporary L shaped sofas, one of which converts to a twin bed.

The bedroom features an Eastern King Size bed with a smaller television set and DVD Blu Ray player.

The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances including refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen is completely equipped with dishes, glasses and flatware.

The contemporary bathroom features a tub/shower combination with heated vanity mirror.

There is free Internet with wifi in the condominium.

Both the living room and bedroom have sliding glass doors that open onto the patio. The extra large patio is like another room and has 2 chaise lounges, an umbrella covered dining table and chairs, with a propane BBQ for outdoor cooking.

Coin operated washing machines and dryers are available in the complex basement.

The Bahia Vista is within easy walking distance of Avalon's main shopping street and the beach.

This condominium at the Bahia Vista is professionally managed to make your vacation worry free.

We are happy to provide free transportation from the boat to our home.

The Bahia Vista community is a quiet area only 2 blocks from the the main Avalon activities. Our home is up along a hillside, on the fifth floor with an unobstructed view and away from the city noise and bustle. Our usual guests a quiet people who appreciate the island activities, from exploring, hiking, water activities, marathons, and jazz. Our guests usually consider us a resource of information about the island and what to do. We deal with our guests on a person to person basis and we are concerned with their individual needs and interests. We maintain a strong relationship with on island managers so our guests always have someone ready to help them in addition to us.

Like most Catalina island homes, no air conditioning.

Response from the owner Thank you for your comment. We never bought a golf cart because the town is so small we walk everywhere. When we buy groceries we call a taxi, they are inexpensive.
