I spent my Easter break in Dubrovnik.
First of all I would like to stress the kindness of the Owner. Helpful and nice.
The apartment we stayed in was perfectly clean and fully equipped. It's close to a nice area with lot of nice restaurants and bars, but extremely quite.
Also the beach is few steps walking from the apartment.

Perfect place to stay whilst exploring Dubrovnik. Only a 2 minute walk from beach, restaurants, shops etc. Nikola our host was fantastic he even picked us up from the bus and dropped us to the airport. I would highly recommend this apartment complex.

We spent 7 nights at Nikola's apartments and cannot recommend it enough. The apartment is modern and tasteful, comfortable and airy. Air conditioning, nice beds, spotlessly clean, very nice bathroom. Location is excellent - it is no exaggeration to say that the bus stop into Dubrovnik old town is right outside the house. The apartment is in Lapad which we would highly recommend as a good base to stay. 10 mins bus ride to old town, 5 min walk to Uvala beach which is favoured by the locals - gorgeous sea and views. There are some great bars and restaurants around Lapad as well which are a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the Dubrovnik old town. Nikola was very helpful giving us some great advice and what to see and how much it should cost. A very likeable chap who is relatively new to the apartment business but is sure to enjoy a lot of success with it. If we return to Dubrovnik we would certainly stay here again! Thank you Nikola!

This was my second stay at Nikola apartments. I should say its something new for me, when you come to other country and because of great location, owner hospitlaity you feel like at home. I think if you want to explore this part of Croatia, this is one the best place to stay for couples and for families. Having to travel all over Europe this summer, Dubrovnik struck me as one of the cities worth vising again. Thanks to the wonderful accomodation facilities of Nikola, his apartments really make you feel at home. Bus stop is right outside your door step should you wish to visit the old town( 10minutes away), or you could just walk down to the beach, or play tennis 2 minutes away. I would highly recommend his apartments. He is also a very friendly warm host...!!

We could not have wished for more!
Nikola responded promptly to my initial enquiry and provided all the information I required. He met us at the airport and drove us to the apartment. Throughout our stay (July 2012) Nikola was very helpful and thoughtful. He is a very kind and genuine man and I wish we could have had more time to talk with him. A wonderful host!
We found delicious fresh fruit and fruit juice in our fridge on arrival. Our first trip to the supermarket to buy some essentials was immediately after our arrival and since he was going too, Nikola joined us, providing us with information regarding cashpoint, buses, local restaurants and festivals etc.
Our apartment was spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. The furnishings and decor are very modern, fresh and tasteful. We really appreciated the air conditioning as the temperatures were around 34 degrees during our stay. We mostly ate out but on a few occasions we prepared our own food in the apartment and found the kitchen very well equipped for making picnic lunches and evening meals. The bathrooms are modern and the showers excellent!
The apartment is ideally situated for: trips to the beach at Lapad- about a 5 minute walk( bring water shoes...those pebbles are a bit painful to walk on), supermarket- about 5 minutes walk, restaurants, bars, cafes- again about 5 minutes walk, buses to the old town- the bus stop is directly outside the apartment for the return journey and a short 3-4 minute walk on the opposite side of the road for the trip to town. It really couldn't be better located!
We loved Dubrovnik and will definitely return! I would most definitely stay at Nikola's apartment again and feel confident to recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

My mother stayed in this apartment for the first time last year when i was getting married in Dubrovnik. She felt so at home and welcomed there that a few of us chose to return this year. Nikola (the owner) is a very good host. Nothing was ever any trouble for him and he was always very polite and professional. The apartment was clean and well equipped and ideally located for the beach and local restaurants. The bus stop is literally outside the apartments and it is a short ride (10-15 mins) to the beautiful old town of Dubrovnik.

Nikola's apartment is located close to the beach and a short bus ride or walk to the Old Town as well as lots of restaurants, bars and services.
For runners, walkers and bikers, there is a nearby track. The apartment is comfortable with beautiful views and is fully equipped with every thing you will need during you stay.

Myself and my girlfriend have recently returned from 6 days in sunny Dubrovnik. Nikola greeted us at the airport as arranged, and throughout our stay was always on hand to help or offer advice on trips and things to see. A true gent! The apartment itself (Whisper) was very comfortable, clean and modern. Plenty of space for 2 people, and my girlfriend in particular appreciated the luxury of 2 bathrooms! We had breakfast on the balcony everyday, enjoying the lovely views and catching some sun before heading out to explore. Location is great - the bus literally stops outside, and is around 10mins to the Old City, with a regular service every 20mins. We would both absolutely recommend Nikola and his apartments for anyone visiting Dubrovnik, and am very happy we decided to stay in the Lapad area. Nikola - all the best for the future!

Apartment - spacious, clean, airy, well- equipped and comfortable. It has balcony in both bedroom and living room with a view. It situated in a popular area of the city by the beach and a forest park where you can go for a stroll or jog and enjoy the panorama sea view of breathtaking beauty.
Location - there are mini / supermarkets around the corner, and many restaurants (some with sea view) nearby if you don't wanna cook. For those who like home cooking, there is a market within walking distance where you can find fresh fish, meat, fruits and vegs - all local production!
Get around - Bus No 4 runs directly from the apartment to old town (10min journey tops). The bus stop is right at the front door. If you hire a car, there is parking place on the premise. It is very easy to get in and out of city from the apartment.
Host - Nikola is a very kind friendly and hospital gentleman. He has done so much for us and made our stay at his place an unforgettable experience. I have recently returned after staying in Dubrovnik for my son's wedding. Along with family and friends we stayed in Nicola's beautiful complex. The apartments were a short distance from all the amenities - beach, supermarket, local hotels and restaurants, and also the bus stop. The apartments were spotlessly clean and fitted out with all the conveniences. Nicola was such a perfect host and went above and beyond anything expected from the owner. The area was such a little oasis of peace and tranquility compared to the busy streets of the old town. I loved all the croation people. They were friendly, courteous, helpful and extended such a welcome to the tourists.

The apartments are spacious, modern, very clean, well equipped and in a great location just minutes from the beach, restaurants and the bus stop into the old town. But the best thing about these apartments is the owner Nikola who went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Brilliant location, 5mins walk to the rocky beach, 2 mins walk to the bustop going to old town and bus stops right in front of the house on the journey back. We went to Mljet Island and Nikola has offered us a ride to the port when we realised there was no public transport to get there. He also offered to pick us up from the bus station upon our arrival and send us there when we depart to Split. All 3 of us has stayed in the apartment for 4 nights. The apartment was clean and modern looking. However we do have trouble with the flood in the shower cubicle on the third evening but was quickly (within 30mins) fixed by Nikola even though he was outside when we texted him. Overall it was a real pleasant stay. Thanks Nikola.

Lovely apartment, beautiful decorated and very nice owner. Willing to speak about Croatia history and traditions. It was a real pleasure speaking with him.
The apartment is close to the beach (maximum 5 minutes walking) and about 20 minutes walking from the Old town. I recommend it for a romantic couple.

I stayed early this June in the apartment Whispers, on 2 levels.
The place is just amazing.
Everything is brand new, nice furniture and beautiful touch. It also has a nice balcony with table and chairs for a breakfast in the morning. We were surprised to find everything in the fridge.
We enjoyed the place, because is very clean, quite and calm, but very close to the beach (no more than 10 minutes walk) and from a nice street with a lively life, bar and restaurants. You don't need to bring anything. All that you need is already in the aparment.
The owner is very helpful and nice. He came to pick us up at the airport and gave us all the good directions and information on what to do here. We felt pumpered and looked after.
If you need a nice place in Dubrovnik, choose this luxury apartment... Trust us!!! -

We stayed in the above apartment in Dubrovnik for a week, and I can highly recommend it,location wise,we were within walking distance of a supermarket, and restaurants, there was a bus stop right outside the apartment, about 15 minutes to the old town, it was a very safe area, as you can see I gave it an excellent rating on all counts,we had a very enjoyable stay, it was well maintianed, to a very high standard,clean,excellent value. The owner Manager was extreemly helpful and very obliging, could not have been more helpful to us,I would certainly have no hesitation in recomending it. We both agreed we made an excellent choice, and that it certainly added to the enjoyment of our holiday.

Apartment was ideally located with a bus stop outside door to the old town ten minutes away, the beach within 100m walking distance and supermarket same distance. The apartment was clean, bright and modern and was ideal for three of us. Nikolay the landlord assisted with all enquiries and needs immediately and ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. Dubrovnik is a delightful place to visit.
