“Best place we stayed in Croatia” This apartment was perfect. It was larger than we had expected and so clean and in such good condition we felt that we must have been the first people to ever stay there. The location was excellent, only a short walk to town with a lower terrace and upper level patio. Maja was helpful communicating over email prior to our trip and her parents who live near the apartment were friendly and excellent hosts, picking us up from the ferry, answering our questions, and getting us settled in the apartment. While overall happy with the accommodation we had across Croatia this apartment was better than the rest. When returning to Korcula we will stay here without a doubt.

LAVANDA - apartment on the coast, Villa Zen, Gršćica, Korčula
Great People , great place.

It is a really nice and quiet place for resting with the family, after few days you become like member of the owner's family. The place is bit separated from the village which gives you some privacy, but if you want, it is 3 minutes walking and you are in the taverna and very small harbor. Small shop is 5 minutes car drive, bigger one is 15-20 minutes. On the place, if you want, you can have aromatherapy and massage - professionally done by the owner - that is paid additionally - but really worth trying. Very nice people, warm water, lot of sun, nothing more needed for a relaxing holiday. The place gives you good vibes for the rest of the year... … see more

Delighted with Rita House

The family were perfect hosts. They wery helpful and friendly to us. They met us at Korcula port and gave us a lift back to the port when we were leaving. They provided us with homemade cheese, wine and homegrown vegetables - all delicious. On our final evening they cooked us a beautiful meal. We could not have asked them for more. Rita House is located near the very centre of Lumbarda which means that excursions, restaurants, car, kayak and other form of activities are all within a 5 minute walk. There is no shortage of restaurants and cafes in the area. There was some noise from a local cafe bar but no later than 11 pm at night. Lumbarda is a beautiful quite fishing village with beautiful scenery and beaches. The local wine Grk was great. The beaches and the water are fabulous. We fell in love with Lumbarda and hope to return soon. I travelled on my own with my daughter and felt very safe at all times. The house was very well equiped with everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The beds were very comfortable . Iit was great to have two bathrooms an one with a washing machine. … see more

A great stay in a beautiful apartment!

The trip started well with Nada and Zeljko (Maja's parents and our hosts), who met us at the port with a car. Very much appreciated with our luggage! The apartment was exactly as we expected, very clean, spacious, and well-equipped (including the kitchen). It's just a short walk down some steps to a nice beach which stretches quite a nice distance (if you want to find a little more privacy). Walking trips to Old Town were very easy, and the bus station was very close (for going to Lumbarda, which we did after our stay here). Maja was also very very helpful by email with understanding the bus and ferry schedules, which really made our trip possible. It was a great experience, and we'd happily stay here again. … see more

Great, but too short...

We had a great couple days in Korcula despite the weather, but want to go back! The apartment is great and just a short walk to the center of town. The porch is great for lounging with breakfast or a bottle of wine. And Gina has many great tips for Korcula and the surrounding areas. … see more

Incredible apartment with amazing host!

Gina was an absolutely incredible host. She welcomed us at the harbor and drove us on a tour around the island before taking us to her apartment. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the harbor and old town, but the car ride was great since we had our luggage! The apartment is gorgeous and spacious, with a great outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. We were greeted with complimentary wine and cookies, and spent the beginning of our stay marveling over the beautiful ocean! Highly recommended during your stay in Korčula! … see more
