Water front on Town Cove on a bluff overlooking the water! 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage, with an Air Conditioning Unit in the living area. Cute screened-in porch, outdoor shower, and a terrific deck to watch the activity on The Cove and the sunsets! A great spot for clamming, fishing, and boating! Boat mooring available for small boats 20 ft and under. This a lovely vacation spot with steps that lead down to the water! NO PETS ALLOWED. $1950 per week in season, $1,750 in June & $1550 in Sept, $1,300 in the off-season. $55 Vacation Rental Damage Coverage Fee (VRD), $60 Handling Fee, (fees non-refundable).

Exactly what I expected. Small, quaint, old-Cape style cottage in a lovely location, with priceless water views.
Everything was fine except for:
1. Water access was pretty impossible due to very high seagrass. It's a shame because we could have made much better use of our proximity to Town Cove if the access site had been even minimally maintained.
2. Kayaks locked up under the deck were really a nasty tease. I understand that they are the property of the owners, but they were covered with dust, dirt, and spider webs, and obviously hadn't been used for a really long time. That's a total shame because they would provide an excellent value-added feature to future renters. The idea that they were there, but we had to spend a ridiculous amount of mooney at Goose Hummock for kayak rentals just struck me as very wrong. A waste of available resources.
3. Never did find the light switch for the outside deck lights. Would have been nice to have the option of lighting up the deck at night. Searched high and low and looked for any instructions; all for naught.
Other than those three things, the house was lovely, cozy, comfy and fun. Would rent again. Thank you!
But could I please have my security deposit back? Been an awful long time. -

The house is rustic with a nice cottage feel. The location is supurb with the cove view that is what we look for. We're walkers, so its a good spot for that. We will keep coming back. The rental agency is nice to work with too.

We love the area - we love the location and privacy of the house. This is our third year - we have rented every year for the past 10 some years but this is our favorite place. This year we lost a grandparent while on vacation, which dampened the joy but the view made us realize it's the little things in life that you need to take the time to enjoy. Thank you Rental Company you run the rental business with the highest of proficiency.
