The ground level of this home has a entry hall leading to 2 bedrooms. The first room has a set of bunk beds and an attached full bath with a shower. This bedroom enters into the other bedroom on this level. There is a sofa, queen size bed, and a TV in this room. The ground floor of this home has all tile floors for easy maintenance. A staircase from the entryway leads to the main level of the home. There is a nice living area with high ceilings and windows with lots of light. The living room joins the dining room at the front of the home and the kitchen. A large covered porch(a portion of this is open) is accessed from the living room. There is plenty of seating and a swing for enjoying this outside space. A short hall to the right of the living room leads to a 1/2 bath and a bedroom with a queen size bed and a daybed(no TV). A small covered deck is accessed from this bedroom. Stairs lead to the 3rd level with an open landing (with seating) that overlooks the living area below. To the right on the landing is a full hall bath(tub/shower) and a bedroom with a queen size bed(no TV). This room opens onto a covered porch with seating. “Do NOT stay here!”
The home is in very bad shape. We came back in from the beach on the 2nd day of our trip to find an ant infestation. It was a scene from a horror movie! There were literally THOUSANDS of ants all over… More

Response from the manager Thank you for commenting on your stay. Yes, there was a nest of red ants right outside a window and gained entrance through a crack. We were able to quickly remove the nest, completely treat the room, and then "spring cleaned" the furniture, bedding to make sure all the ants were removed. This home is a much loved family home and the owners were very sorry that his happened during your stay. I know it was inconvenient to move to another home, but we hope you had a great stay for the rest of the week. All is well at "The Jackson House" and the next weeks guests had a wonderful time.
