This popular home has everything you need for a great vacation, including beautiful sunsets and a great walking beach right out your door! This home enters from a covered porch facing Palmetto Blvd. There is a large open central area in the home combining the living, dining, and kitchen. This space also includes a wet bar and a glass top game/card table. There are 2 bedrooms on either side of the great room. The hall to the right leads to a bedroom facing Palmetto with 2 queen beds(with TV). There is a full hall bathroom on this side(tub/shower combination).The bedroom at the front of the house on this side has a queen size bed(no TV) and opens onto a deck facing the beach. There are wonderful views from this spot in the home. The left side of the property has a hall leading to 2 more bedrooms, each with a private bath(tub/shower). The back bedroom (facing Palmetto) has 2 twin beds(no TV). The front bedroom has a queen size bed(with TV) and also opens onto a deck area facing the ocean. A nice screen porch is between the 2 beach side decks and is accessed from the living room. The porch, complete with rocking chairs, would be the perfect spot to sit and relax after a long day on the beach. The "Mattison House" would make a great choice for a wonderful week on Edisto. Response from the manager Thank you for your review of Mattison. We love hearing when guests have enjoyed their time on Edisto. I agree that Edisto is wonderful in the spring. You might also consider the fall. September and October are two of my favorite months here.
