4BR / 3BA - K, Q, D, Bunk, Triplebunk - Sleeps 11- When the owners named their home "The Last House", they meant it, located at the end of sandy Point Street The location has unbelievable views of the Atlantic Ocean & St. Helena Sound. The house sits almost right on the point between these two bodies of water. Sit on the screen porch that faces the water and watch the dolphins swim by or just enjoy the quiet of your private location and beach. There is even a screen porch on the Point Street side of the house. The kitchen is tucked away on the back left side of the house, but opens into the dining and living room. This home has beautiful pine floors and paneling. The left front(beachview) bedroom has a king bed(with TV) and private bath(tub/shower). The right front bedroom(beachview) has a queen size bed(no TV). The back right bedroom has a double and a set of bunk beds. The bedrooms on this side of the house share a bath(tub/shower) between the two rooms. A fourth bedroom is downstairs and has a triple bunk bed, bath with a shower, and a separate outside entrance. Response from the manager Please know that Edisto Realty appreciates your business. This home is an older property that has been totally renovated by the owners. Most homes built at that time did not have interior stairwells to the downstairs rooms. It was a common practice at the time. Edisto Beach does have a noise ordinance so contacting the police would be the appropriate way to deal with the dog problem. I'm sorry that you had trouble with the dryer during your stay. Any time a maintenance situation is reported we take care of the situation as quickly as we can, with the least interference with a guest’s stay. I've checked the work orders for this home and do not see a reported problem with the dryer. Please know we appreciate your business and stand behind our promise to have issues resolved as quickly as possible for our guests. When booking your next stay please speak with a reservation staff member and we will do our best to help you select a home that might be more satisfactory for you.

Response from the manager You are right, the "The Last House" is the last house on Point which makes it very quiet and private. As with all coastal areas, erosion is a fact of life. Some seasons the sand will build up and then during other seasons the sand will disappear. The owners have applied for renovations to their sea wall and the Town of Edisto Beach is working toward another re-nourishment. You are right the 4th bedroom is for the kids. Please think of Edisto Realty and the "The Last Houses" for your next beach vacation.
