Description

This all cedar home is nestled into the natural surroundings at the very tip of a gated private island. 3 decks and a 35 foot long covered porch provide spectacular views of the beach, marsh and creek. All rooms face the ocean through over 600 square feet of windows. The undeveloped beach is two miles in length and easily accessed by foot, bicycle or a short boat ride, where you may well find yourself the only one there.

Neighbors, traffic and noise do not exist at Pyramid Pointe, you are surrounded only by water, wildlife and views undisturbed by human activity.

The master bed room occupies the entire top floor and offers spectacular ceiling to floor views of the ocean from its comfortable king size bed or its own private deck. The level below contains the remaining two bedrooms each with a full bath and views of the ocean from a king bed (and deck) in one and two full beds in the other. The lower level has a fully equipped kitchen, very large dining room, surrounded by glass, and den. A queen sleeper sofa and full bath are in the tv area. Watch dolphins in the creek 30 feet away while relaxing on the porch or soak up some sun on the large deck facing the beach. While it is difficult to see another house, unobstructed views of the ocean and marsh can be seen from every room in the home.

Swim, sun or beachcomb for beautiful shells, sand dollars, fossils or sharks teeth on the private beach. If you are lucky a loggerhead turtles nest may be opened by conservation just before dusk and you can help the baby turtles to the ocean.

Crab, fish or boat from our dock just steps from the porch, kayaks and small boats are available at the home for guest use at a very reasonable rate.

If you have rented a home at Edisto Beach, Jeremy Cay or Cowpens before, you will find Pyramid Pointe offers a level of privacy and view unmatched by any other property in South Carolina.

Edisto Island itself offers golf, a state park with several miles of trails for hiking or biking, charter fishing, gift stores, fresh local seafood and public beaches. Charleston, with all of its historical sites, fine dining, and aquarium is an easy 45 minute drive.

Please be aware that this is a traditional low country beach home, it was the first house there and is a means to an end. If you are looking for a home as nicer, or even as nice, as yours, then this home is not suitable for you. If you are looking for a place to sleep, eat and bathe while in a location like no other, then this will fit the bill.

Response from the owner The roof did not leak, the MBR AC condensate overflowed. A tech was sent the day after being notified. All other complaints were not accurate. Claimed kitchen utensils rusty and then sent picture of a corkscrew. It's the beach, anything metal will rust overnight if left out doors. Completely unreasonable and/or false complaints made after they had left the property. We cannot guarantee something will not break, what we do guarantee, and what we did when she called, was send someone to fix/replace it within 24 hours of being notified.
