This luxurious two bedroom, two bathroom self catering beach apartment, is situated right on the main beach in Hout Bay. Breath taking, uninterrupted sea, beach and bay views from your living area, main bedroom and spacious balcony, closer to the beach you cannot get.

This gorgeous apartment has been operational since October 2012 and is beautifully furnished in modern, contemporary yet comfortable style for luxury beach living and is equivalent to at least 4 star grading.

The apartment offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the en-suite bathroom with bath and the second bathroom with shower.The apartment sleeps 4, but on request... a 5th bed can be added to the spacious living area. Quality linen and towels (bath and beach) are provided.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need for you self-catering holiday, including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven with glass hob, filter coffee machine. Everything you need to prepare and serve a gourmet meal for 6 people is supplied.

In the living area the elegant dining area with its high gloss black glass table and leather dining chairs seats 6. The comfortable contemporary lounge area offers soft leather seating complemented by a glass coffee table. Should you tire from gazing at the spectacular lounge sea view, you can enjoy watching televison on the 46” high definition television with satellite programmes, choose a book to read or watch a and DVD.

The lounge and the main bedroom open with sliding doors onto the spacious seafront balcony - the heart of the apartment. Here, for your enjoyment, is a large cast aluminium patio table with chairs, a Weber barbeque, reclining chairs and loungers. Relax while watching the dophins surfing hte waves, boats sailing by or the whales playing in the Bay!

"The Village" apartment block offers a large heated indoor pool for use of residents, 24 hour security personel and CCTV camera on the premises, the building is wired for WI-fi (you need to buy vouchers), there is a lift to all levels, secure basement parking, and a laundrette. "The Village” is situated in prime position in the heart of Hout Bay, right on the main beach, surrounded by wonderful shops and many restaurants, coffee shops, breakfast places, supermarkets and banks. There is a Tourist Office and bus stop on the doorstep. The building has an in-house launderette and offers 24 hour security, a large indoor heated swimming pool for use of residents and tenants, a lift to all levels, secure locked basement parking, a lovely planted atrium and for the energetic, a well equipped gym (extra cost). The Building is wired for wireless internet (pay-as-you-go vouchers can be purchased). Open the front door, cross the one way road and you are on the beach!
Hout Bay is the gateway to all activities and attractions that Cape Town has on offer, a real gem, a characterful fisherman village and a seaside resort of world fame – all within the lovely city of Cape Town.

Please note that due to high command, we generally cannot accept bookings of less than a week until two months before the date, however please contact us regardless as there is always a chance we will be able to accommodate you.
•Minimum stay over Christmas period 10 nights.
•A 50% deposit will secure your booking with a refundable breakage deposit of R1000 payable on arrival. Master and Visa credit cards as well as electronic transfers are accepted
•The apartment is not serviced, but we can assist you in arranging this
•2 sets of linen per bed, and 2 sets of bath towels per person and a beach towel each are provided for your stay if longer than 3 nights, if shorter, one set of linen per bed and one towel per person.
•No telephones, bring your mobile along, you can buy a starter pack and use you own mobile with a temporary new number whilst in South Africa.

  Normally with these things you can find some fault in a holiday apartment/hotel. For once I can truly say I found absolutely nothing to complain about, not a single thing.
  
  For tourists, particularly travelling with families to Cape Town, Hout bay is an undiscovered gem. It's quiet and community led, but beautiful beyond belief. What a perfect place to have such a perfect apartment. I brought my wife, baby and parents over to stay in this stunning apartment.
  
  It was spacious and clean, filled with everything we could ever need for braais on the massive balcony overlooking the incredible bay. The decor is stylish and modern, but also comfortable and warm. My wife and I went to be every night and woke up every day with the sound of waves crashing.
  
  Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too. Plus, everything you need is right there. From trendy restaurants to rustic pubs and quirky art shops, the surrounding village was awesome. Frank;y I didn't feel the need to move far from the flat, although we did venture into town a lot.
  
  Still, the beach is gorgeous and white and the sea a heavenly blue, all encased in dramatic green coves. Apartment 26 was right in the middle, offering spectacular views and sounds.
  
  I guess if I do have a gripe it's this: I had to go back to London at the end of the holiday!

  Lovely apartment with magical view

  We have just had a wonderful 5 nights at no 26 and highly recommend it. Jeanne was very helpful with our last minute booking and we found the apartment very well equipped. We were with our two year old twins who loved the heated pool and, while we did have to be careful of the balcony, the place was perfect for young kids. Extras like the beach towels were really appreciated and hubby loved the full cable tv package. The only minor drawback was that we only seemed to get wi-fi reception right by the front door. The view really is wonderful, it's an incredibly relaxing place to stay.
  
  The block is great too and is close to take outs, a cafe for morning coffee, shops and lovely restaurants. I really can't recommend it highly enough.

  Our first impression of this perfectly situated holiday apartment was that the entrance and centre-court with lush garden had a tropical flavour! On entering the apartment, one is met with a feeling of spaciousness which is complemented by tasteful modern decor and exquisite views of the sea and mountains from the entire living area and main bedroom. The twinkling of lights seen from the balcony after dusk turns the bay into a fairyland. The attractiveness, comfort and cleanliness of the bedrooms and bathrooms places this apartment in a class of its own. The kitchen is well-appointed making self-catering a pleasurable experience. However, a large number of restaurants and shops are within a few minutes walk. The beach is wihin a stones-throw from the balcony. We highly recommend apartment 26 The Village, Hout Bay as holiday accommodation.
