PaarlBeautiful and accommodating
Left on 05/16/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We stayed there for one evening with a bride to be and had the most amazing experience. The house has everything you looking for; relaxed surrounds and amazing views. The family informed us about everything in advanced and looked after us with a smile. I can highly recommend it and would love to go back and visit again; we will never forget this amazing special day and support from the owners. We loved it!

Left on 02/04/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We have recently spent 4 wonderful weeks at Chateau Neuf du Cap .We were delighted with the Location nestled in the hillside over looking Hout bay what a wonderful view that greeted us waking up each morning .We were thrilled with our spacious beautifully furnished apartment ..but best of all our very large comfortable divine bed ,dressed with lots of comfy pillows and heavenly white cotton duvets .A recipe for a good nights sleep !!
Ashley & Debbie couldn't do enough to make our stay there so pleasurable what a delightful family ..two beautiful children Nina & Dominic considering we all lived quite close ..we never heard any noise to disturb our peace ..so very well behaved ...and the children weren't bad either !!!
We were invited to use their large pool when ever we felt like a refreshing dip !!Hout Bay is full of great little restaurants so never any problem finding good food or there's always well stocked woollies if you fancy a night in watching a movie... we could really recommend this beautiful house !!and Gardens !! -

This beautiful home is perfectly situated in the charming town of Hout Bay. The guest apartment is large and beautifully decorated, with a beautiful view over the garden and the valley.
It is a place that makes you feel safe and at home, and attention has been given to every detail.
The hosts will make you feel welcome and at home. A perfect setting from which to explore the Cape. -

East Molesey, United KingdomThe perfect place to stay.
Left on 04/25/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We have just spent a few days at Chateau Neuf du Cap. The apartment is very spacious, well furnished with views over a colourful garden. Hout Bay is an ideal base from which to visit Cape Town and the surrounding area. It was great to return from a day out and be able to relax and unwind in the pool before a barbecue. Heather and John Camplin are very friendly hosts and knowledgeable about the area. All this made our stay a very enjoyable experience, certainly to be repeated.

Cape TownEndeavour Safaris - site inspection
Left on 11/05/2010 for a stay in November 2010
Having visited Chateau Neuf Du Cap on a site inspection, specifically for wheelchair guests, I found that it is very suitable. All doorways are more than wide enough, no steps (except from the garage into the kitchen - where a ramp will be placed), flat roll-in showers and enough space next to the toilet to transfer. There are no hand rails, however for most this is not necessary.
It is beautifully decorated and comfortable with stunning views and a lovely garden. -

Wellington, New ZealandGreat holiday experience in the Western Cape
Left on 07/02/2010 for a stay in March 2010
Having enjoyed Heather and John's hospitality on a previous visit, and watched the initial development of Chateau Neuf du Cap, we recently returned to the Cape to view the finished product.
Hout Bay is one of the pearls of the Cape and is an ideal base from which to explore and experience the Cape.
Chateau Neuf du Cap certainly complements the warm and relaxing environment that surrounds you. A truly beautiful house set in lovely spacious private gardens with a superb swimming pool. Such wonderful luxury coupled with the freedom afforded with a self-catering apartment and late afternoon drinks by the pool.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable 8 nights and will certainly be returning.

LondonA lovely home surrounded by peaceful natural beauty
Left on 06/21/2010 for a stay in March 2010
My husband and I stayed at Chateau Neuf du Cap in March 2010 and had a wonderful visit. The guest accommodation is comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. It is situated in Hout Bay, with mountains all around it and we loved being by the pool, looking out onto the mountains. The home is in a quiet cul-de-sac, but close to the town with shops and restaurants. I visited the world of Birds, which is a walk away, and enjoyed drives to the beach - less than 10 minutes by car.
John and Heather, the hosts, are lovely people and made our stay even more enjoyable. -

PretoriaGreat stay - very relaxed environment & friendly service
Left on 06/21/2010 for a stay in May 2010
I stayed at Chateau Neuf du Cap in May 2010 and can really recommend it to anyone wanting a break & to escape to a paradise. The beauty is that you feel as if you are really far from the busyness of the city - but actually ideally situated close to famous attractions (including walking distance to the fantastic World of Birds) and also easy drive to the city.
The facilities are excellent - very clean and neatly decorated.
The self catering facilities include everything that you would need.
John is also a registered tourist guide - so can either provide whatever information you require, or can take you on a tour as needed.
This is a true home from home - relaxed environment to unwind and feel pampered.
