As always the house was great, Clean and every thing we wanted. This is a very large house with room for every-one, It is so close to the wataer, you could leave the windows down and enjoy the waves and music at night, ( the music they make) I would not change any-thing about the house or Emerald Isle Realty Co they really are the best.

The atlantis Cottage is an escape dream vacation for a family reunion setting. After 8 years of vacationing in this one home, we enjoy the comforts and beautiful location more and more. The attention to detail by Sabrina Hylton and the Emerald Isle Realty staff is first class service. The home, location and amenities create an environment that is fun, relaxing and perfect rain or shine! The "Sylvester Clan Reunion" is my favorite adventure each year!

Everything was provided for a terrific vacation. Parking was great(even a garage!). The layout allowed for community time and private time. The views were outstanding. This house was large enough to accomodate at least three families with lots of recreation outlets available.

This was our 2nd time as a family of staying at atlantis. We love this house and all that it has to offer. Love the ocean, pool, elevator for grandparents, and the kitchen has everything that you would want. The deck of the house was our morning coffee meeting place! Would recommend this house to anyone - we will be back soon! Lots of wonderful family memories!

The location is great. This section of the beach is wonderful, and the gazebo is a nice perk. The description of the house was deceptive in that it was not clear that 4 bedrooms had the share 2 baths. The water was so hard that the dishwashers could not clean the dishes and left a thick white residue on all the dishes. The description said that there was a water softener, but it was evident that there was not. The wiring is inadequate for the house as several lights dimmed and flickered when the a/c came on. One of the bathtub drains was completely clogged when we got there, however, the plumber was there within 30 minutes of reporting the problem. We will choose another property next year.

This was a beautiful home on the beach with a lot of amenities. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. It was extremely close to the ocean with easy access to the beach. It was as if the beach was our own private beach. The house was clean and the perfect size for our four families. We loved the midweek cleaning of the pool and lining exchange. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to stay there again.

Great house for the perfect family vacation. Loved the large well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to have wonderful family dinners. The lower level was perfect for the children. They loved playing video games on the huge television and the easy access to the pool and beach. The entire house is beautifully decorated, well maintained, and has beautiful open and covered deck space. Great beach space with no crowds!

Our only 'minor' concern was the phone call from housekeeping mid-week, telling us there was a lot of dog hair in the house. Interesting -- we did not have a dog, and the cleaning people had been there before we moved in. When we left, after the 3rd cleaning, there was still a dog biscuit under the sofa!!
The house was perfectly furnished and location excellent! -

We "won" a weekend at your property in a silent auction for brain cancer research at Duke. I worked with Heidi on the best house and date. 4 couples of our organizing team spent a great weekend watching basketball and relaxing. The house was wonderful, we have never seen a property so well appointed, could use 2 coffee makers and there were some maintenance issues which I notified the staff about and hopefully will be fixed before the season starts.
We had a great time, the staff were great to work with, we greatly appreciate EIR donating the house for a great cause (thanks to Michele and Jason). I hope EIR continues to offer this for the auction.

Sun pouring in the windows, a cozy fire to snuggle up in front of, a bubbling hot tub to relax in...what more could you want...along with solitary walks on the beach, lots of shells, and hiking in the Croatan National Forest. Atlantis was everything we expected & wanted!

While the weather was a bit coolish, we enjoyed the very comfortable house with it's well equiped kitchen. There were lots of places to sit in the sun listening to the relaxing, rhythmic crash of the waves. We took many strolls on the beach and collected shells.

We paid in advance for a heated pool that wasn't heated until over half way through our stay (because heater wasn't turned on by EI Realty, it turns out). Requests for return of at least half the prepaid cost (which is only fair) were met with no commitment to credit the account. That was unacceptable. The matter is still unsettled. It should have been addressed immediately. Hot tub had a lot of sand in it before we ever used it. Blinds won't raise in upper southeast bedroom. Ice maker pumps out a meager 6 to 8 cubes per hour. Otherwise location is good, loved the elevator and partly covered deck.

Lovely home with comfortable and quality furnishings and equipment. Excellent service when maintenance problems arise. Expensive - but worth it for a very enjoyable stay. The beach is beautiful and the people in this area friendly and gracious. Everyone we enountered, from the cleaning staff to the check-in girls are delightful. All the family enjoyed it.

Best beach house layout we've every found! 2 master suites/3 kingsize bedrooms/7 bedrooms total and very convenient kitchen/dining/living room layout. Dolphins swam by every morning. Pool is perfect when the sun is too hot on the beach. TVs in every bedroom. Our family of 2 grandparents, 2 daughters&spouses and 5 grandkids have rented here twice and everyone was happy. Our gang doesn't want to risk going anywhere else! Everyone loves that they can go from house to pool to beach to porch with such ease. Big screen TV, DVD, Wireless internet kept everyone happy too! Mattresses were great, bathrooms all modern and the entire house is perfectly clean and fresh. We took turns handling food prep/tidying so no one had more than 1 day of chores. Each "couple" took one day and the kids did 1 day.....plus 1 "leftovers" day and 1 "eat out" day. We also rented 3 beach umbrellas and 6 chairs and that was plenty. Recommend bringing at least two laptop computers to keep kids content - there are multiple areas to set them up. One son-in-law even brought a card table and set up an "office" in his bedroom to work a couple of days without any problems. Basically, a perfect beach house!

House was great...close to beach and nice pool area. Location was about 7-8 miles from restaurants in either Atlantic Beach or Emerald Isle...a little long if you had little ones like myself (1 yrs and 3 yrs old). Close to aquarium...kids enjoyed being out of the sun.
House was clean and big...everyone had plenty of space. Management company was a little off...I had to call for the mid-week housecleaning, no instructions for the grill - had to hook it up to the house and I never received my gift card. -

The house is lovely, very relaxing vacation.Beach is beautiful, saw dolphins on most days. We had lots of family with us and the house is large enough to accommodate everyone. Kitchen great for cooking big family meals. Hot tub is under cover on deck which is nice so you are not sitting in the hot sun in a hot hot tub. Pool was great to cool off in after the ocean. Just a really wonderful home.

The Atlantis is a very roomy and beautiful home right on the beach. The beds were comfortable and the best stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans and utensils) I have seen in a beach rental.
My nephew was getting married on the beach at the Ocean Club Resort and we were able to walk to his wedding.
I loved the fact that this home was in one of the least populated areas on the Crystal Coast.

Atlantis was an excellent spot for our vacation. We've stayed at other
places on the beach, both in Emerald Isle and in Pine Knoll shores,
and this was one of the best. We had been somewhat apprehensive
about noise from the street since the main beach highway is right out
the front door. The location and design of the house were such,
however, that we never noticed the traffic--which did not prove to be
very heavy anyway. The layout of the rooms (living, sleeping, and
playing), the quality of the amenities, the mix of sun and shade on the
decks, the incredible views--this was a wonderful location to which
we look forward to returning! -

Great location, near everything. had a great time, fishing is fantastic. Atlantis was a very clean well kept home. great pool and outdoor services. The grill was used every night and the food from the local fish market was very good.
Plenty of room for all 17 of us, beds all made, we did bring extra towels especially for the beach. We were right on the beach and was able to take care of the kids easily.
