Come enjoy our beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage, proudly owned by my family since the 1960’s. Your home away from home is located on a slope under a canopy of mature hardwood trees, affording wonderful views of Lake Wallenpaupack, located only 200’ from the front door. Enjoy the fieldstone patio with your group, where you’ll grill, enjoy the views from the 8’ picnic table, and relax on chaise lounges during the day, and during the evening, roast marshmallows and make smores at the firepit. Enjoy the views, your favorite beverage, and conversation on the covered fr...ont porch, furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture. Bring your boat, up to 24’L, and moor it in your own slip located directly across the street, in protected, no wake water. Navigate the Big Lake, 13 miles long, where you'll swim, tube, ski, and fish, or throw out the anchor and enjoy captivating scenery. Enjoy the convenience of the no wake zone opposite the cottage, about 1.5 miles in length, great for the kayaking or canoeing enthusiast. Take a short drive to the beach, or to the outdoor recreational area, where you’ll enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool and kiddie pool, play tennis, shoot some hoops, play volleyball, or take a well-deserved break and watch the children as they enjoy the playground. Walk to lake or pond fishing, too!

  Just went for two days for the kids mid-winter vacation. The place was lovely. It was very clean and well organized. The beautiful wood and great fireplace created a warm charming atmosphere. Great size bedrooms. Mark was just wonderful to deal with. He was flexible and his instructions for the use of everyting was very clear. We had a large group and found it very comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

  It was just a weekend getaway for the two of us in this beautiful cottage. We picked it based on what we saw on internet, and have to admit, did not regret at all. The cottage is very warm and cozy. There was absolutely everything anyone would require: pots and pans, utencils, dishes, etc., and everything in a mint condition. Bedrooms are big and comfortable. During the day we were enjoying the lake, and we spent our evenings sitting outside in front of a firepit, enjoying ourselves.
  Now we are looking forward coming back and bringing our entire family.

  As I'm a UK resident all contact before the visit was by email. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark, he was always quick to reply to any queries that I had.
  The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious. We were 7 adults and we had plenty of room. The cottage was supplied with everything that we needed and more.
  The location was picturesque. We spent a lot of time outside, just sitting looking at the lake, reading, playing games and using the barbeque. We also enjoyed pleasant walks around the lake and at the back of the cottage.
  Mark and his wife Judy made this a holiday that we will always remember.
