Description
Chiado 4 is a large open space studio in a building that breathes character. Fully refurbished by the owner architect in 2012, renovation highlighted the charisma of the apartment, reflected in its ceilings with brick arches, 18th Century tiles or the massive front door. Low exposure to natural light was ingeniously compensated for by unique lightning solutions. Attention to details during renovating matches the refined decoration. The final result is a space with unique ambiance, versatility, elegance and coziness.
This studio can accommodate up to 4 people. The whole apartment is a large open space. Separated leisure, sleeping and meals areas were achieved through imaginative architectural and decoration solutions. The kitchen area is modern and well equipped. Bathroom is small but functional. Last but not the least, the apartment has a small patio where meals and/or drinks can be served.

Location is unbeatable indeed and door is large, very solid and two centuries old. I know some guests struggle a bit with it (though others have no problem) but difficult to find a solution without spoiling the beaty of the door and without break the City Hall rules. Mario

Response from the manager Thank you Sally, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. All ancient buildings in Lisbon were built using a wood structure and no concrete was applied. This circumnstance does reduce sound isolation but so is the case in 80% of the buildings in centre town. As you pointed out studio is wheelchair accessible but it is not prepared (nor advertised) as suitable for guests unable to move without a wheelchair. Fortunately it was not the case. Mario
