A popular family resort, Marsascala is a traditional fishing village with a picturesque coastline of rocky coves and a small sandy beach known as St Thomas Bay. Here you'll find an array of water sports on offer, including scuba diving, windsurfing, surfboarding and water skiing, as well as a selection of waterfront eateries and beach bars. The small harbour and port is very pretty, with multi-coloured fishing boats bobbing on the bay, while the promenade around it offers a fine choice of restaurants serving local and international cuisine. In the resort centre, you'll also find a good choice of cafés, bars and nightlife spots, alongside shops and supermarkets.

This pretty resort has some fantastic places to explore, including the harbour promenade, and is a great place for hiking and cycling. There is plenty on offer here for sports enthusiasts, including an 18-hole golf course at the Royal Malta Golf Club in Marsa. This same club also offers miniature golf, swimming, tennis and squash. The beach at St Thomas Bay is just a 10-minute walk away and is suitable for sunbathing and swimming, while wind surfing is also very popular.
