A fabulous 2 bedroom apartment situated in The Sands Boutique Resort, this very private top floor condo is set in beautiful gardens with peaceful views to a National Park lake, the hills beyond and a mere 3 minutes walk to stunning Nai Harn beach in the south of Phuket. The Ocean and idyllic sunset at Nai Harn Beach is visible from our balcony. Nai Harn was recently (February 2013) voted the sixth best beach in Asia by Flipkey !

A very charming quiet spot at the southern end of Phuket, Nai Harn is one of the island's most beautiful locations and most popular places with in-the-know locals. This quiet and tranquil place has only a few hotels including the The Royal Phuket Yacht Club and is a favourite anchorage for boats during the high season.
Great for swimming from November to April, however care should be take in the low season (May-October) when there can be strong undertows on occasion. There is some good surfing and kite boarding to be had at this time on Nai Harn Beach (voted 6th best beach in Asia by Tripadvisor http://www.tripadvisor.com/TravelersChoice-Beaches-cTop-g2 ). The local restaurants just above the beach make a great place to relax with a sundowner.
Just north of Nai Harn, along the coast, is Nui Beach, small, secluded and difficult to access. Further along is Ya Nui, a sandy cove that attracts snorkelers and divers. Another out-of-the way spot nearby is the tiny beach of Ao Sane, a great spot for snorkeling, reached by taking the dirt road that starts at Le Royal Phuket Yacht Club car park.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans ce magnifique appartement.
Situé à seulement 300 mètres de la superbe plage de Nai Harn, l'appartement est situé dans une très belle résidence avec une piscine splendide.
L'accueil que nous avons eu a été plus que parfait. Autant Peter, le propriétaire, qui vous donne pleins d'informations utiles avant votre arrivée que Henk, la personne de contact sur place qui vous donne pleins de bons conseils, nous ont été d'une grande utilité et d'une grande gentillesse.
Le personnel sur place était aussi très sympatique et serviable. Endroit parfait pour des vacances familiales, toutes les excursions sont à proximité, mais nous pouvons quand même trouver une appréciable tranquilité à la plage.
Possibilité de louer des voitures ou de prendre des taxis pour la journée.
Un petit supermarché à quelques centaines de mètres à pied nous permet d'acheter des articles de première nécessité. De bons restaurants également à Nai Harn village (2 min. en voiture) ou à Rawai (5 min.).
Nous reviendrons à coup sur dans ce bel appartement très bien entretenu !

We had a wonderful time at the Sands in Nai Harn. The condo is quiet, has excellent amenities and has a great location. The beach is a few minute walk from the condo. The beach is great for family and is not crowded. We rented a small motor bike and were able to find many great places to eat within a few minutes. Peter's restaurant recommendations are really good as well. The pool area is lovely and never had more than a few people in or around it. Overall we had a great stay and would not hesitate to return if we were in the area.

We recently spent 4 nights at this lovely property. The apartment was perfect for our group (2 couples). Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms meant we each had our own space. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, a real home away from home. The location couldn't be better with wonderful views across to the lake and only 1-2 minutes walk from the most beautiful Nai Harn beach and all the markets and restaurants etc that you could want. Peter was great to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks again Peter, all the best!

This was my first overseas trip. Peter made everything as easy as possible. The condo is located on a quiet beach away from the busy Phuket center but only a quick taxi trip to town if there is somewhere you want to go. The condo was great. I stayed with a friend and we had our own bathroom and bedroom each. It would be great for a family or even two couples. The gaurd downstairs is by far the most helpful man I have ever met. If we needed a taxi he went to the beach and brought one back for us. When we wanted to order pizza and they didnt understand us on the phone he placed our order for us. The pool is private. There arent people everywhere like other resorts. The whole place is clean and tidy. Peter even leaves a basket full of fruit in the kitchen. I tried some amazing fruits that I wish I could get here! The condo is comfortable, the bed is good, the air con works well, there is a patio for you to enjoy the views of the lake and the cool breeze. I would stay here again!

We (family of 4 with two 7 year olds) had a wonderful few days in this well placed apartment. Top floor apartment with views over a lake and the beach metres rather than miles away. The apartment is well appointed with good a/c and is positioned well for the taxi/buses that crawl along collecting passenegers if you don't have a car. The beach is very well kept with a selection of easy beach restaurants and some smarter options in the nearby hotels. 5 minutes drive will get you in to the main area of Nai Harn with an excellent range of dining options. Without doubt we would return to this apartment if we came back to Phuket.

The accommodation has a fantastic location, an easy stroll to the beach and restaurants. Nai Harn beach is the pick of all the beaches on the island, it is beautiful clean and quiet compared to the rest. You could easily just stay there but other attractions are all easily accessible.
The apartment is very clean and well presented. Furniture and fittings are modern and comfortable. Balcony is private and catches the breeze. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Significant developments are happening directly to the rear of the apartments so there is some construction noise during the day. Once finished it will change the look and feel of the area but it will still remain much more under developed than the other beach areas thanks to the temple complex.
If we return to Phuket we would only stay in this area and the sands is hard to beat.Response from Peter Antonioni - 03/26/2012

My wife and I, plus 2 friends, spent a fantastic week in The Sands. It's a great condo -spacious, comfortable, spotless and elegantly decorated.
Great location too, with beach, restaurants, bars, laundry and shopping just around the corner. The beach is so close we never even tried the swimming pool in the complex!
Peter, the owner, is very friendly and attentive -we appreciated the many excellent tips and recommendations.
We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and the condo, and will definitely stay again! -

Stayed here with partner and son and had the most amazing time! The apartment is lovely, tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed having the balcony to chill and relax on in the evenings and the pool is a wonderful extra for when you're ready for a beach break! Nai Harn beach is literally a 5 minute walk away with all basic shopping amenities to hand and some really great restaurants to enjoy all the scrumptious local food for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I could have quite easily spent 10 days not moving from Nai Harn but my boys wanted to do some exploring so we did rent a car and go round the island a bit too. Phuket is great, there really is something for everyone there! We luckily never had any problems with the apartment while we were there but the owner did kindly get in touch with us a few times to make sure everything was ok, which was a nice touch I thought. It was such a wonderful relaxing holiday and we'll definitley try and get out there again soon. Thankyou Peter!

I stayed here in February with a group of 4 of us. The location is brilliant - 2 minutes to the beach! The apartment has one double and one twin room, with two bathrooms and a kitchen. The living area is great - very comfortable. We didn't cook while we were there but the kitchen had everything you would need.
There are lots of restaurants nearby for breakfast (Chez Nous is 5 min walk) and dinner (Areu's Corner is brilliant).
Generally, taxis are more expensive in Phuket (than Bangkok) so you may want to hire a car to get around if you want to go further afield.
Nai Harn beach is great with lots of sunbeds and the sand and water are lovely. The apartment provides beach towels which is a great little extra.
Overall, Nai Harn is a great choice if you are looking for a trip to the beach with the apartment being a perfect base to do this from.Response from Peter Antonioni - 02/21/2012

For our family this place was perfect. About 100m from the beach at Nai Harn, but far from the busy crowded beaches farther North, the Sands is a much better value than any hotel room. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated enough to make me want to buy a place just like it. There is a pool and a small resturaunt, but with the beach so nearby, we found it just as convenient to eat out. It was nice to have a decent sized bathtub too - a little luxury.
