We took a family vacation to Myrtle Beach and are so happy to have stayed at Malibu Pointe. The condo was great. We had a few minor issues, but Victoria from North Beach Realty, took great care of them. We will return to Malibu Pointe one day, and use North Beach Realty as our property managers. I did look into this and found that the work order and the repairmans invoice was for "washer not working" invoice notes: inner frame at motor mount snagged on locking pin mount- Freed, ran thru cycles, all was working. I have had several reservations since your stay and all has been well making us believe the correct appliance was fixed. Thank you for your comments

Malibu Pointe U 901 will be a beautiful memory for my family and I. My mother had recently retired and wanted to go to the ocean with her immediate family; our experience at the Condo was phenomal. Our view of the ocean was great. The facility was spacious, well maintained and convient to other locations on the beach We definitely will us North Beach Realty again for our future vacations.

The best thing about this condo is the location. Although there is another hotel/condo directly in front of this property, there are still good views from the balcony.
The property seemed dated and considering the weekly rate, the only upgrade visible were the granite countertops in the kitchen.
We vacationed in Virginia Beach in 2010, paid an almost identical fee, and had a condo that was stunning and oceanfront.
Overall, we were there for the beach and had a wonderful vacation.
This condo is your basic hotel with a kitchen. -

I recommend 100% the apartment, perfect location, and the apartment is in perfect condition (LOVE IT!). The pool gets crowed, but not a big issue since the beach in 2 minutes from the apartment. I do recommend NOT using North Beach Realty to book the apartment. Two weeks after we check out, they over-charge us for things that we did not do (like moving furniture in the apartment or checking out “supposedly” 2 hours late, even though we called to let them know we were outside of the apartment). They used my credit card without my permission, only because it was the one they had on file. I tried to negotiate with them, I was even willing to pay half of the charger. They were uncooperative and at the end told us, “it is what it is”. They were simply not very nice - they were not looking for our “customer loyalty”. I WILL RENT THE PROPERTY AGAIN BUT NOT THROUGH THEM – MY RECOMMENDATION IS NOT USE THEM!

This was our first family vacation in years and this was a great place to stay. The condo was located close to the ocean as well as hwy 17. Having the pool and the lazy river was a great option for those few rainy afternoons we had, also great when the kids had had enough of fighting the surf.
The condo itself was nicely furnished and spacious and being able to see the ocean was a bonus! I loved having a washer/dryer as well as all the other amenities of home.
I would recommend this property to friends and family. -

The unit location was great and quite large. The building, elevators,pool and hot tub could use a little cleaning and updating. The unit needs a few more pots,pans,dishes and serve ware. We would stay in the unit again but possibly bring additional supplies. The management rep was excellent very friendly and quite helpful.

This was our third year at Malibu Point and we enjoy it better and better. The cost is reasonable. The view is as good as it gets from the second row. The condo is spacious and well equipped. The only thing lacking was more time than we had to enjoy.

This was our third year in this unit. It is a perfect fit for our needs as a golf group. Oven seemed a bit slow and the icemaker was turned off, but other than that everything was perfect. We look forward to coming back year after year. The place and rental staff are great. Thanks for making this another great trip!

We checked in and out when the office wasn't open so we never met the staff. However, the online process was good. It would have been nice to know that we were about 30-40 miles north of the airport. When driving in we were confused with 17th Avenue in
SMB, then in MB, and finally in NMB. Never been there before, we didn't realize there were the different cities so it took us a little longer to find the office. The condo was very clean, however, it would have been nice to have the glass on the balcony cleaned.
I'm sure this is not an easy thing to keep clean. Our overall stay was well above our expectations and we had a wonderful time. We will recommend this location to anyone who is going to vacation in the area. -

We really enjoyed our week in Myrtle Beach. We found it clean for the most part and quiet. The only things that I thought we should mention to you are:
Needs new shower curtain in Bedroom #2. The one that is in there has mold growing on it.
The pool table was missing balls and the sticks were broken.
The elevator had a horrific smell. I guess that is why the carpets were ripped up.
We traveled to Myrtle Beach in a 15 passanger van. The only place we could park was poolside. Often, small minivans would be parked in these spots. These minivans would fit in the garage parking perfectly. This poolside area should be specifically marked for overside vehicles. This would certainly help future guests find adequate parking.
Some really good points about the unit.
The unit was tastefully decorated.
Lots of storage space.
Big kitchen (where we cooked 3 meals a day)Kitchen was well equipped.

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The only negatives were the parking garage, if you don"t have a compact car you're very limited as to where to park, and also the living room furniture wasn't very comfortable. We needed some light bulbs replaced and they sent someone over very quickly. The location was great and the price was right. We would consider staying here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with our unit. We knew we were second row, but we had a great view of the beach. Everything inside the unit was exactly as pictured.
Plus it was a short, easy walk to the beach and the building is located within a fairly short drive to all the places we wanted to go to.
The only complaint we had was that the elevator smelled bad... -

We had a blast! The condo was so beautiful! There was an issue w/ the ice not workin in the fridge door, the light didn't work well in the double bedroom, the couch was a little smelly and the sheets did not stay on some of the beds. Sheet holders would work well but they were not provided or offered. It was hard to get a hold of anyone to assist since we arrived on Saturday and no one came to fix the fridge until Tuesday. The final thing was that the elevator did not work for the last 3 days of the trip which was a pain but all in all it was a wonderful place to stay. Like I said, mostly good then bad but nothing is ever perfect! :) I would recommend this condo to anyone because of the view and how beautiful it was! It was totally a 95 out of 100!!!!

The condo is quite spacious, clean, and seemed to be well kept. The lamp in one bedroom did not work and it was not the handicapped accessible condo we rented but we were able use some portable suction rails to help my elderly parents. Overall, condo was very nice and the ocean view was good for 2nd row, just not what we rented. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving at the beach and recommend this condo highly.

Our only advice for anyone vacationing at Malibu Pointe: There is limited parking if you are bringing a custom van. -

We brought 10 people with us on this extended family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone and really had a "home" atmosphere. The only caution I'd give is that the doors aren't very heavy and when opening from the inside, even if it's been locked, the lock undoes automatically and lets you out. My 21 month old was a pro at this. The owner/rental property needs to place a chain lock much higher to prevent small children from leaving. In the storage area assigned to the condo was well stocked with beach gear which was a wonderful surprise. All in all, a great place to stay!

If you're using your GPS Sytem to find the location don't it takes you out of the way the main check in station is just after 17th street heading north on the left or just before 17th heading south on the right but the check went smoothly and the direction from there was on the money. The view excellent beach, beach ,beach and the pool and jacuzzi was wonderful.Plenty of walking things to do. One of our more enjoyable stay in Myrtle Beach.

We had a great stay in Myrtle Beach. The place we stayed at exceeded our expections. We would rate this as one of the best. It was nice to stay somewhere on vacation where we didn't need to bring anything except for food and our personal items. We especially loved the view. The full sized washer and dryer in the property was a plus. Thank you so much. We hope to come back on our next visit to the east coast.

Our stay was FABULOUS!!!. The condo was beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff at North Beach Realty was very helpful, and met all of our needs. We were on the 9th floor, so our view of the ocean was wonderful. A mere walk across the street and we were at the beach......every day we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Our family really enjoyed the Condo at Malibu Pointe 901. It was very spacious and very updated. We had a wonderful view of the ocean in the living room and in the Master bedroom. You really can't see the oceanview good on the internet site that shows pictures of the condo but the view is great. Would recommend this Condo to all my friends and family. Hope to get to come back next year.

We were very happy with everything except the cooking pans. We purchased 2 cookie sheets and 1 skillet so that we could cook. There was only 1 large bowl so we needed to purchase some plastic bowls too. Everything else was very nice.
