Topsail Island is a quiet, residential island with twenty six miles of uncrowded sandy beaches offering beautiful sunsets with many activities and attractions nearby.Known for its quiet beaches, nearby championship golf courses and excellent fishing, North Topsail Beach, North Carolina, is an excellent place for a family vacation no matter what the season.We own a 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath townhouse located at Unit 112, Heron Cay Townhomes, Rt. 210, North Topsail Beach, North Carolina.

MarylandAmazing/ close to marine bases for military visits
Left on 10/10/2011 for a stay in October 2011
We arrived for our first visit to North Topsail Beach and had no idea what to expect and arrived a bit cautious. After being there 10 minutes the caution was floating in the wind. Our Marine had just arrived at New River air Base (20 minute drive) and we were looking for a great spot to reconnect and have a quiet visit. However, having a 5 and 8 year old we still would need some adventure to our spot and Heron Cay certainly filled the bill. The pool was still open (though it was scheduled to be closing soon), the beach and ocean were inviting and surprisingly warm. The children were at the pool and ocean 3 of the 4 days and no one complained of being cold.
The condo was great. Oceanview to the front, though you can't see the waves break and on the back side was a great marsh leading to the coastal waters. Great decks facing both areas gave us picture postcard views and a walkway through the marsh gave us the opportunity to view the wildlife very closeup. We found everything we need upon arrival and the homeowner sent us prior to arrival brochures and maps of the area; so we had some idea as newcomers what treat we were in for. I was concern that there were only two TV, but as it turned out the second TV was rarely on
as I said when I started we were newcomers had never been there, but we are already planning to go back soon!
