We came to Litchfield Beach to celebrate our 30th anniversary and this condo was absolutley beautiful. The oceanview from the living room took our breath away. We spent many hours on the spacious balcony watching the ocean waves and tides. We were able to see marine life inluding dolphins and yes sharks! We enjoyed our meals on the balcony also.
The furniture in this condo was very comfortable, we loved the decor and the kitchen was very well equipped. We didn't watch very much TV because the oceanview was so commanding and beautiful you just couldn't take your eyes off of it.
Inlet Point is a beautiful, quiet and relaxing residential community. Walks on the beach were so relaxing. We also enjoyed our walks to the marsh. The pools were beautiful, quiet and clean.
Our trip was awesome and we definitely want to return to Inlet Point!

Cedar Grove NCNice Unit, needs a little renovation

The furnishings are very nice, the living room/dining room area are well appointed and the view is great. The heating/ AC works well and there is plenty of hot water and water pressure. The master suite bedroom appears to have been recently redecorated and it looks like the owners are begining to work on the master bath-new shower is in place.is There were complaints that the twin beds were lumpy and that the TV in that room did not operate properly. The kitchen is adequately equipped, but some draws could be better organized, but otherwise everything worked well. There are places here and there that need new carpet or a paint touch up. but, overall, this unit is fine, and worth the rental fee.

Excellent location, easy walk to the beach, pool, etc. Lovely condo with fully equipped kitchen - things you wouldn't expect to find in a vacation home. Working with Litchfield Real Estate was very easy, great staff, friendly service.

Stayed with husband and college age son. This rental served our needs perfectly. The place was spacious, had comfortable furniture, a great balcony located just far away enough from the walkway for privacy, and comfortable beds. We had spectacular weather, beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. We would love to stay here again and recommend it to others.

You have to love this condo for its convenience to the beach! We have been renting this unit for 5 years running on the same weekend in august. It is just a few steps to the beach, so if you forget something, it is no trouble to run back to the unit and retreive it.
It is so relaxing and peacful. I love sitting on the poarch and reading on rainy days, or looking down at the early morning walkers on the beach. Every year we find an upgrade to the unit. Can't wait to come back!Response from Litchfield Real Estate - 08/18/2011

We have been coming to Litchfield Beach for at least 33 years, sometimes twice a year, and mostly at Inlet Point. We have stayed in 3 different units in Building 13, at least 2 times each and in several other buildings. So, we can enjoy Litchfield no matter which accommodations we use. 13E can't be beat for "location, location, location", though perhaps not the best in equipment or maintenance. After all, the building is showing its age, but we note that exterior painting was being renewed while we were there. I'm sure that my wife and daughter articulated their individual criticisms in our exit questionnaire. But, God willing, we'll be back!

We have stayed at Inlet Pointe for years and love how quiet it is. We like that it is gated, and also love our favorite building, 13, which is on the ocean. Great view. Marsh/crab dock is a plus, also. Excellent landscaping and ground maintenance.

Excellent check-in and check-out...very easy process. A little disappointed that we have to wait so long for our security deposit to be refunded.
The condo location was fantastic, however, the unit itself needs a little updating. We had the opportunity to see another condo 15D that had been recently renovated for the same weekly rental rate & would have chosen that unit over this one (13E). The condo we rented did have an amazing ocean view. The security guards were friendly and we did feel safe.

You probably won't have to wait the 30 days for your security deposit to be refunded - it's usually a lot quicker than that. That's just a good "rule of thumb" and it's what the state requires. The owner of Inlet Point 13E plans to do some work in her condo in the off-season - it's been rented constantly all summer and there hasn't been an opportunity! You're right - Inlet Point 15D is lovely! Come back to see us again very soon!

Great location. Apartment if well decorated. Equiped nicely. Bathrooms are dated. Sliding glass door to the deck overlooking beach needs to be replaced. It leaked during a rain storm.

while we enjoy the ocean front location, the furnishings are worn and need replacing, particularly the sofa and easy chair in the living room. The window blinds in the living room are terrible and should have been replaced years ago--the pull strings don't work--some of the panels are missing and some are facing the wrong direction. If they are not replaced when we return next year, we will not return in the future.

There must be something we like, we keep coming back! Really though, Ip13e is a unit with a great view and location. That is where things stall. We have been in this unit for years and it seems that so has everything else. The unit sit atop the most beautiful beach in the world, but the unit has not advanced in all of those years. I hear the word "tired" used a lot about units in real estate, that would describe this unit. The bed linens and beds are the same we have been using for years. The kitchen, well, if you eat out, not a problem, but if you plan to cook, bring your own. The equipment is sparse, mis matched and just difficult to deal with. The unit has condensation issues that leaves water in the bathroom ceilings. The rugs are in serious need of removal, andthe sliding door to the porch, well, you might as well leave the door open.
Please don't misunderstand, we keep coming back, so it can't be that bad, can it? In reality, we come for the location, we come for the beach and we come for the family. Litchfield Co. does a great job getting us in and out and we know they do everything they can with these units, but they turn over so fast, it is hard. If you want to stay in a place with a great view, and only a few steps to the sand, sun and peace of mind, than this is your place. We really enjoyed our stay at Litchfield and the condo was just perfect. It's location was as close to the ocean as you could be! I really enjoyed the time I spent, relaxing on the balcony, rocking and read a good book. The condo was perfect for the two of us and beautifully decorated. I would recommend renting this particular to anyone wanting to enjoy the Litchfield Beach area, thanks for a great vacation.

This condo has one of the prettiest views of the ocean and beach that we've seen. The furnishings were nice and the kitchen was adequately supplied. Although a few minor touch-ups and repairs are needed, overall the condition of the condo was good. The staff at Litchfield Real Estate was also very friendly, informed and accomodating.

The folks at Litchfield Real Estate were very nice and extremely accommodating. It was a joy to work with them. The location of Inlet Point 13E is great, the view is wonderful, but the condo itself is in need of some updating. During our visit, the air conditioning quit working and the dishwasher quit as well and had to be replaced. The stove also leaves a lot to be desired. The front door is anything but inviting... just a coat of paint would make a difference.

We, my two sons and I stayed during Christmas and although the water was obviously too cold we loved the privacy and peacefulness. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our Christmas dinner. The accomadations were very nice. The full window view of the ocean also became a beacon at night due to the small artificial tree we brought which was lit at night. Spectacular from inside and out. Cant wait to get back. With grown children it is difficult to gather but trust me they always make reference to our south carolina experiences and ask when can we all get together.

This was about our 30th (or so) visit to Inlet Point. We have stayed in 3 different units in Building 13, plus others in 1,4,7,8,10,17,18,19 and 20. Each has its own advantages. 13E's chief advantage is the great view from its balcony. I'll be back whenever I can arrange it.

however, this unit is in need of work-especially the bathrooms. i was
not happy with it except for the fact it was ocean front. the owners
need to put some work into this property. it has been since august so
i am not remembering everythig but it was VERY dated and the worst
