"We were unlucky to have rain most of the time, but the house was relaxing and comfortable. The screened porch was wonderful. Courteous, professional service by Litchfield Real Estate.
Home was clean and well-equipted. Shopping facilities were
close by, including an excellent bike rental place. Also only a short distance to a great bike trail. Home is two blocks from
the beach, takes about 5 minutes to walk - good beach access.

We loved our stay! The house was easy to spread out in and everyone loved the location to the beach, activities, grocery stories and restaurants. Very Conveninet!

We have five grands and three children and their spouses. All four adult coules had their own bathroom!! Children shared with parents Two older (8-11) children had their own bedroom.(Baby kins in cribs). Great layout... Two living areas and terrific screened porch. we all loved it. nicely appointed as well. Hope to stay agian next summer

Size of house and amenities fit our family well. It's quiet location, close to beach and convenience to shopping centers and church. Good family choice.

Cottage was great for families as it has two living areas. Just a short walk to a beautiful uncrowded beach. Kitchen was lacking a few items, and could upgrade cooking items. Other than that, it was great!

The house was very easy to find and within walking distance to a public beach access. It was clean on the inside and very spacious. It was also convenient since the kitchen came fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare almost any meal. We really enjoyed the house and the location and would stay there again!

With six grandchildren (age 9 and under), their parents, and me (Grandma), I was looking for the perfect place for a beach vacation as a Christmas gift for everyone. The look of Lone Oak along with the photos of the interior caught my eye. As soon as we all walked in the door, we knew we were in the perfect place for us! It was spacious yet cozy, inviting, and so very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked many meals. We made good use of the outdoor shower. The house itself felt secluded even though we had neighbors. We all had a wonderful time. The ocean was less than a three minute walk or a two minute rented golf cart ride away. The beach was clean and very wide and beautiful. It was a vacation we will all remember forever!! Thank you!

From the time I reserved the room to the time we left, we had such a great experience. We needed to add an extra day, which with other places was an issue, but not with Litchfield. Our flight landed way before check-in. When I called to see if we could check in early, they offered to call me on my cell when the room was ready.
The house was perfect for our 5 couples and a single. The house made you feel right at home. The two separate tv rooms on the same floor separated by the open kitchen was perfect. We were in walking distance from the beach with was great as well.
We have been coming to Pawleys Island for about 10 years now and usually stay in Pawleys Island across the waterway. But since our experience we had with this company and this home, we plan on staying here from now on.
I was also a big fan of being able to donate any non-perishable food items, at the end of your stay, to the local food back via Litchfield Real Estate. What a great idea! And you can just drop them off when you drop off your keys.

My only problem was that we had asked if there was a portable crib at rental and was told since not listed in brochure there must not be one. I rented a crib for the week then found there was a crib at Lone Oak. It was under a bed and hard to see.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in Lone Oak! Sometimes owners add items and we don't know about them - for instance, the crib! We find the best thing to do for our guests is to "assume" there isn't one unless we're told otherwise. That way you're not inconvenienced when an item isn't there! We were extremely pleased staying at Lone Oak in North Litchfield Beach. This home is comfortable, well furnished and easy to relax in. I appreciated the care taken by the Litchfield Real Estate staff in providing a key on Sunday night, checking on us after we arrived and making the stay very easy. We enjoyed being by ourselves or taking in some of the local activities like Brookgreen Gardens. One of our highlights was getting fresh shrimp off the boats in Georgetown and grilling it that night for dinner. We definitely want to come back.

Originally found from R/E Book. Wish it was on the beach but could not afford if it was. Met owner that offered us to swim at another location being built...very nice of him. Love the house....EXCEPT it needs an outside grill!!
