An oasis of peace high in the mountains of Bali. A mystical hideaway perched atop the Ayung River ravine where volcanoes, rivers and verdant rainforests meet.
Totally private, the wooden cottage sits within a tranquil garden setting, where by day the birds songs mingle with the Balinese chanting drifting through the air. By night, the crystal clear night skies bring peaceful quiet sleep in the cool temperatures where no air conditioning is needed. The one bedroom cottage is designed to provide total immersion into the environment. No television, no telephones.
Beautiful old recycled wooden furniture and local handwoven fabrics are used throughout the cottage. Fresh tropical flowers are displayed daily for your enjoyment. Delicious Balinese food is prepared for you on request. The two live-in staff will cater to your every need
Local ceremonies are a weekly event, and a stroll through the typical Balinese adat village is an adventure. Tropical fruit trees are abundant in the village of Penyembangan, coffee, chocolate, mangosteen, durian, are just a few of the trees you can see. The Ayung River gorge is a 10 minute hike to its source.
Ubud center is 30 minutes drive south, and there you can find an abundance of cafes and shops. Spend the day there are enjoy all the activities and then return to your peaceful cottage.
