Relax by the sparkling pool, enjoy a massage by Racquel, our in-house masseuse, dine under the stars and step into a new way to vacation. Located fourteen miles east of Ocho Rios, escape the hustle and bustle of super clubs and tourism and enjoy your new home away from home in Jamaica. Our villa was completed nine years ago on the historic Wentworth estate, an estate filled with banana, orange, lime, mango and papaya trees. Home of the illustrious Captain Henry Morgan's historic lookout and sitting adjacent to playwright Noel Coward's dramatic estate, "Firefly," Cabarita Lookout has one of the most beautiful views in all of Jamaica. Elegant yet cozy, we want our home to be your home away from home. On your arrival at Montego Bay Airport, you'll be greeted by Cutty, your driver, and new "best friend". Cutty has a wealth of knowledge about Jamaica and will be happy to share the lore of his land as he drives you to Cabarita Lookout. On arrival you'll be greeted with a rum punch by Sharon, both a fabulous cook and meticulous housekeeper. Cool sea breezes and breathtaking views will erase any memories of work or travel.
Cabarita Lookout is located in close proximity to James Bond Beach, Dunn's River Falls, Dolphin Cove, The Blue Hole, Mystic Mountain and Fern Gully. For the more adventuresome, try rafting the Rio Grande, exploring Cockpit Country or deep sea fishing with local fishermen. Or just kick back and relax around our sparkling pool. Sharon's cuisine ranges from local to international. You are free to design your own menu.
Cabarita Lookout comfortably sleeps three families or three couples with extra beds available. The van and driver are available at all times during your stay. Whether you are looking for an active family vacation loaded with activities for you and your kids or just a quiet private getaway with friends, Cabarita Lookout promises memories you'll treasure forever.
Cabarita Lookout sits on top of the community of Lookout, adjacent to Noel Coward's estate, "Firefly". The home is built on three levels. The first level has 2 bedrooms, the Sunrise Room and Seascape Room, featuring queen beds, along with a couch that flips out into two twin beds. Each of the bedrooms has its own bath with shower. There is also a full laundry room with washer and dryer on the first floor. The second floor features the main living area with an open concept dining room, living room and kitchen. The dining room table seats 10 to 12 comfortably. There is a large bathroom on the main floor with dual shower heads. The main floor also features a 12x32 seaview terrace with dining tables, chairs and a gas barbecue grill. Upstairs you'll find the master suite, Lookout, which features a king bed and clawfoot bathtub perched high on a pedestal offering magnificent views. A bathroom adjoins the suite. A private 12x16 terrace offers a dining table and professional massage table ... not to mention a view you'll always remember.
Cabarita Lookout offers the comforts of home including a 14x32 pool with surrounding tiled decks, a full kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, ice cream maker, blender, juicer, toaster and coffee maker. We offer high speed wireless internet and a wireless SONOS stereo system, a Smart TV that allows you to watch anything on Netflix, DVD player, washer and dryer and large gas barbecue grill. Cabarita Lookout has a professional massage table and our own board-certified masseuse Racquel who specializes in deep tissue massage. Air-conditioning is featured in all three bedroom suites; large ceiling fans and cool sea breezes assure comfort year round.

Response from the owner Good afternoon Summer, Thank you for your review. You must have been a guest of the individual that rented from another sight other than TripAdvisor that just checked out. I would like to make corrections to your statement on honesty. The communications between the renting party and the villa was a week before your arrival about the WIFI issue. “Honestly” the WIFI was down for a bit earlier in the year but had come back. The day after it went down again, I addressed it with the renting party. I advised them, of a possible solution of getting an international plan and to use a hotspot. This is something I have personally done before and stated as such. Payment for your stay had not been received and communication was discussed to let us know if this would be an issue. No further communication was given to indicate that the WIFI would be an issue. We were not advised that one of the individuals in your party would require WIFI service or we would have graciously allowed you to cancel your stay to find another location that was better suited. We were not aware this was an issue until, we had picked you up, prepared dinner and upon you arrive to the villa that we were told you were looking to possibly check out. Your renting party was given the opportunity to find another location and our driver would have taken you there. You all were also given the opportunity to be charged just the night’s stay plus other accommodation fees for the day to allow you to find somewhere that would accommodate you all. Please also understand we are upfront and HONEST with how we market our villa: Other Sight listing states – Cabarita Lookout Villa is the perfect venue for the family vacation, couple’s getaway or team building corporate events. Our home is not for those, who are looking to be at the beach every day, partying or attending nightclubs, but rather looking for the perfect relaxing getaway in the local hills of Jamaica. Again this is what our listing states that your friend rented from. We advertise that we are in the hills of Jamaica, and being so, you will run into roads that are not as well maintained as here is the states. I feel that your group may not have chosen the best location for your needs, as we did make accommodations for your nightclub outings until late in the mornings. We are sorry to hear that you feel you were scammed, but we were upfront with everything in advance even well before your friend rented the villa. We hope you do return again to Jamaica to a location that is better suited for your needs and have a different outlook of the people of the island, instead of judging them ALL on your last experience.
