Description
There are few resort experiences as unique as Sundance and there are few places on earth that you can spend a few days that are as idyllic as this particular setting at Sundance. The branches of old growth fir trees brush the cabin’s windows. A year-round stream runs along the foundation on two sides providing ambiance and natural summer air conditioning. It gurgles under an eating/barbecuing deck leading to an 8 person hot-tub, tucked back in the pines. Two bedrooms have private decks overlooking the stream.
The cabin is open and airy inside with walls of windows; you feel like you’re living in the trees. The whole house has radiant floor heating so even on the snowiest days you can be barefoot in the forest. Curl up in front of the gas fireplace and watch TV or listen to music on a state-of-the-art theater sound system. Cook a meal in a gourmet kitchen when you’re not in the mood to make the short walk through the woods to the great restaurants and bar at Sundance.
We live and work nearby - so we're always available. So relax and enjoy, we're at your service and happy to help maximize the value of your time away at our house. Response from the owner We are glad it worked out. We try to make it abundantly clear that it sleeps 6 but a couple beds (the 1/2 bedroom you refer to) are in open loft. A family of 6 will love it. 3 couples that want privacy from each other might not enjoy it as much. Thanks again.

Response from the owner Thanks for the feedback on the mattress. It's relatively new and a prominent brand - which indicates to me that not all mattresses are good for five years like they'd want you to believe. We're replacing it this week.

Response from the owner We're glad you enjoyed the house even during the (possibly) rainiest two week stretch we've ever had. I'd like to say that contributed a lot to your perspective that the main floor of the house is dark. We're surrounded by firs and when the sun is shining you get beautiful dappled sunlight in the house. When we built the house we put in as much glass as we could to capture it.
