Get away from it all at "Rum and Kai", at the Retreat in Rum Point. This beach front 1 bedroom condo is located in the stunning upscale vacation home enclave of Cayman Kai on beautiful Grand Cayman. Thanks to our discerning guests, we have recently been designated as a TripAdvisor and FlipKey Top Vacation Rental for Rum Point for a third consecutive year (2013, 2012, 2011).

Completely renovated in 2003 with further updates in 2009, this 3rd floor unit is fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing vacation. The unit is tastefully decorated with high-end furnishings and the finest linens; all in an understated, yet elegant tropical West Indies motif.

Featuring breathtaking ocean views from the fully screened lanai and just steps from both the quiet pool and sandy white beach (fantastic for swimming and snorkeling). Rum and Kai is the perfect size (1,039 sq. ft) for couples or a small family looking for a truly stress-free beach holiday.

Within walking distance to a pier, you are just minutes from the famous Sting Ray City and Cayman's renowned North Wall, also making Rum & Kai an ideal base for a Dive vacation.

With a king size bed, queen size sofa bed and twin pull out bed, Rum and Kai provides ample sleeping options. The fully equipped kitchen and available BBQ grills makes dining-in as easy as if you are home. But, since you are on vacation there are numerous restaurants located nearby.

In the unlikely event the weather forces you inside, you will appreciate the entertainment center featuring a large screen HDTV, Premium Cable, and a hard drive media center with over 250 movies and 700 TV episodes (many in HD). Classic board games and playing cards are also provided.

Conveniently next door is the popular Rum Point Club, featuring: restaurants, the Wreck bar, gift shop, water sports and snorkel rentals, dive shop and Sting Ray City trips.

The low density complex's amenities include: 1,200 feet of amazing white sandy ocean front beach (not some lagoon) with Palm and Casuarina trees for shade, pool, tennis court, fitness center, on-site management and the most amazing shades of blue the Caribbean can offer.

With no scheduled public mini-bus service and cabs needing to be called ahead for, renting a vehicle is highly recommended.

We use a local management company to assist our guests. In the unlikely event that you encounter a problem with the unit or an appliance ceases to function, please contact Gigi or Thelda from the management company, North Coast Resort Management (NCRM), so they can remedy the situation.   Should the need arise, you can always also contact us via the booking app you used. NCRM can also assist in making excursion reservations and offers a pre-arrival shopping service for guests. Please contact them directly for details and fees.

How do damage deposits work?
