“Best Family Vacation Ever!” We came to Grand Cayman to scuba dive as a family. Our condo was a wonderful place to relax after our dive trips because of its proximity to the beach and the pool. Boggy Sands Beach Club is within walking distance of some great local food. Heritage Kitchen, ALFresco, and Calico Bar. The owner Morne Botes was attentive to all of our needs and great to work with. We highly recommend this place and hope to return very soon.

“Wonderful Stay, Beautiful Condo and Grounds, Easy to Work With” Condo is beautiful and exactly as described in the listing and in all communications with Marc. Very close to beach and water. Even closer than looks in pictures. Literally few steps out the door. Also close walk to great restaurants, stores and Camana Bay. Unit well equipped with towels, umbrella. Beach is gorgeous with beautiful turquoise warm water. Pool and grounds immaculate. Well maintained. Pretty landscaping. Enjoyed the screened porch with ceiling fan for morning coffee. Most gorgeous sunsets on the island right outside of the door. Marc was easy to work with ..... from the time of booking and throughout our stay. He touched base by email and phone upon our arrival to ensure we were doing ok. We would not hesitate to book again .... amazing experience.

“Can't wait to go back!” Great location on Seven Mile Beach. Condo has two large bedrooms and full kitchen and flat screen TVs in living room and each bedroom and Wi-Fi. We used the grill many nights, just outside the door. Located between the Westin and Ritz it is close to Foster's Grocery and CostUless and many great restaurants within walking distance. The beach is fantastic with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The owner has been great to work with, I joke that I am worried about him if I haven't heard from him within an hour or less after I contact him. We will be back next winter. Great place, great location!

Seven Mile Beach apartment

“The perfect location...Coffee in the morning on the porch with the ocean.” We just returned from a 10 night stay in Unit 11. This condo complex is away from the crowds of the big hotels but still has the perfect private stretch of 12 mile beach. Jim and Gail who own Unit 11 were the perfect hosts....welcoming us to their condo with an information booklet, brochures, and a cruise ship schedule so we could avoid Georgetown and tours when there were a lot of ships in port. They sent us an email before we went, and made us feel like family. The unit itself was decorated in bright colors in the beach theme. We admired the many pieces of art throughout the condo showing all the wonderful places in Grand Cayman The wifi reception was perfect as was the TV reception on both TVs. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the washer and dryer were a big plus. We loved starting the day with our coffee and breakfast on the screened in porch watching the lovely water and hearing the waves. The complex was quiet, but all the staff were friendly. We were afraid to drive on the left initially, but after a couple of days relaxed and went to the many amazing restaurants that Grand Cayman has to offer. There are some amazing chefs on this lovely island. The grocery store was just down the road and we loved having the option to cook or go out to eat. On Super Bowl Sunday, we stayed "home" grilled steaks on the communal grill, cranked up the blender and had our own little party in our wonderful temporary home away from home while we watched the sun set over the ocean and listened to the waves. We could always find beach chairs with umbrellas, and enjoyed snorkeling in "our backyard". The beach was well maintained with soft sand. We went on a fishing trip and to Captain Marvin's Stingray city. The unit was clean and cheerful and we had daily maid service with clean towels and a washed floor. Discovery Point Unit 11 was the perfect place to get away from our dreary Oregon weather. Our vacation ended way too soon and we hope we have the opportunity to return someday. Take the opportunity to rent this comfortable condo which is in the perfect location and has the support of such friendly owners.

4BR Pool View at Boggy Sands Club, Seven Mile Beach

Seven Mile Beach condo

4 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / sleeps 10

“Heaven on Earth in Grand Cayman” The reviews and pictures don't begin to do this Boggy Sand Road property justice! We rented the ground floor unit, which was absolutely spotless, elegant, roomy, well-equipped and only a few steps to the most beautiful beach. The area is residential, private and quiet - like we had somehow privately rented Seven Mile Beach! The grounds of the property were garden-like and the pool was lovely and clean. Our rental car was nice to have but not necessary - there is a Foster's Market within a short walk of the condo, as well as a few great little restaurants (Alfresco's, Timbuctuu and Heritage Kitchen). The bus service is great - more like hailing a cab with pick-up right at the foot of the driveway. But back to the beach...the unit is equipped with 2 kayaks and a paddle board, which we enjoyed tremendously on the calm, crystal-clear waters. Cemetery Beach is right next door for some of the best snorkeling we had ever experienced. The Kittiwake Shipwreck is directly off shore for another fantastic snorkeling experience. We even enjoyed swimming with our own resident sea turtle every day! The condo unit itself was spacious and fully equipped with everything you need - beach towels, chairs, umbrella, rafts and cooler;fully-equipped, gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops, beautiful and spacious bathrooms, and super-comfortable beds. Although our "kids" were 15, the unit would be wonderful for families with smaller children as well. I must say, the absolute best part, however, was our gracious host Morne, who made us feel like pampered family members visiting from out of town. He picked us up from the airport, made sure we had everything we needed, made great recommendations for activities and restaurants, was never intrusive but always available for anything we needed. I would (and will) vacation here again in a heartbeat, and make the highest recommendation to anyone to enjoy the vacation of a lifetime at this property! Just please don't take the week I want! ;)

Cayman Reef Resort #50 - Best Value on the Beach

Seven Mile Beach apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Excellent Long Term Stay” Unit 50 was very suitable for my wife and me for a four week visit. We thought the overall experience was excellent and it provided excellent value for our money. We would definitely recommend Unit 50 and we plan to return. Don't expect luxury, but do expect comfort, convenience and a relaxing place to stay. The owner, Marc, is very well organized, responsive, a good communicator and a pleasure to deal with. There were no surprises. Marc's information packages were clear with all the information we needed for our stay in the condo plus he provided helpful information about the island. The resort is clean and well maintained with a good pool, on a non-crowded section of the beach with plenty of beach chairs for all. The resort staff were very helpful. The resort is very well located on Seven Mile beach within easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and Camana Bay shopping. If loaded down with groceries, we took a taxi back. We did not need a car, although we rented one for a couple of days to explore the island farther afield, which I would recommend. If you dive, the resort is an easy walk along the beach to the Red Sail Sports locations at the Grand Cayman Beach Suites (GCBS) or the Marriott. If you own and don't rent, you can store your gear in lockers at GCBS so there is no need to lug it back and forth. The apartment is spacious and is comfortably furnished. We cooked and ate four to five dinners/lunches per week in the condo and ate at restaurants the other times. The electric barbeque works well but takes longer to heat up and to cook than a gas one, so we had to learn to plan accordingly. We took advantage of the option to have the apartment cleaned half-way through our stay. Our unit was at the back of the property overlooking the pool with a view of the sea in the distance. It was generally quiet, although there is construction on the adjacent property to the south and we could hear the backhoe from the pool area. Sometimes the Royal Palms Beach Club, three units north, plays music loudly when the cruise ship passengers are in or there is a special event. This is a benefit or a curse depending on your point of view. In summary, we found Unit 50 to be a good place to stay and we recommend it to others.

Cayman Reef Resort #1 - Renovated Seven Mile Beach

Seven Mile Beach apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Excellent 1BR on SMB” My wife and I just spent six night in this great one bedroom condo on SMB. It was our first stay in the Caymans. The unit was exactly as advertised. Ample towels were provided, including beach towels. The unit has a full kitchen, with every appliance that you could ever want. The screened in patio, which was great for dinners, also has a nice electronic grill that I used to cook a beautiful red snapper that I purchased from a local fisherman in downtown George Town. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom large, the hot water VERY hot and plentiful, and the AC worked very well. The unit is reasonably stylish, with several nice finishes throughout. The condo building has a mix of vacationers and residents. The pool isn't huge, but more than adequate if you want to take a quick dip. There is a tennis court in very good condition in front of the building. The private beach has several recliners and umbrellas. We never had to fight anyone for use of these, but that may be different during peak travel times. The location of the unit was IDEAL. The resort is on the beach, which is obviously a big plus. Additionally, there are TONS of great food options within a quick 5 minute walking radius. To quickly name a few, Chicken Chicken, Al La Kebab, and several restaurants at Camana Bay were all excellent. We rented a car, which we found useful to get to the grocery store several times. In hindsight, could we have done this by taking cabs or buses? Yes. But we liked the flexibility. The owners provided us with ample suggestions and guides to help make our first stay on island more pleasant. Marc was very responsive to emails and was on top of everything. All in all, the unit worked out great. We didn't spend a whole lot of time there, as we were out every day diving. But the time that we did spend there was very pleasant. We would certainly consider renting this unit again.

Coral Reef

Seven Mile Beach villa

7 bedrooms / 7 bathrooms / sleeps 25

“This beautiful home has everything you need!” We had a blast staying at Coral Reef. There were 6 adults and 2 kids (ages 9 & 13). There was plenty of room for hanging out, eating breakfast, playing games, swimming and playing on the beach. We never felt crowded or on top of each other. Truly appreciated the kayaks, paddle boards, wake boards and snorkeling gear that was right on site available to use. Didn't have to walk or drive anywhere to do activities - just dragged something out to the water and got going. Also was thankful a washer/dryer was there. The kitchen is stocked - don't worry about bringing spices or basics. The water is a little rough to enter due to the shells but once you get in it is wonderful. The house is just a short walk (5 min) up the beach to the Tiki Bar, a place known on the island for their jerk chicken and rum punch. Would love to return again soon.

Cayman Reef Resort 56 - Luxury on Seven Mile Beach

Seven Mile Beach apartment

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 7

“Fantastic Condo on a fantastic beach” This condo was more than we could have hoped for. Modern, new, clean and extremely well stocked with kitchen ware, towels and bed linens. Two screened in patios with a view of the sunset. A very clean pool just off the main balcony. Washer, dryer and dishwasher made this unit a very family friendly unit. My kids said that they thought the condo was better than home ! We plan on returning to grand cayman and when we do our first choice for lodging will be Cayman Reef Resort unit 56. Lastly, I can't imagine a more attentive landlord than Marc. His attention to detail and the comprehensive packets of information regarding the condo and Cayman in general wee invaluable. I felt like he was our personal concierge. He gave us advice on private tours, excursions and dining. We recommend this condo and Marc with 5 Stars.

“Home away from Home” We have visited Grand Cayman for the past five years, always staying at Georgetown villa 318. This villa makes the stay reach beyond anyone's expectations. This villa is our 2nd home. The villa provides up to date livinging. Beautiful furnishings, great kitchen provides the resources to stay for weeks. The star of the villa is the terrace. You have the view of the pool, the beach and the ships at port. I love to walk to the port. The villa is near many vendors that increase the value of the location. I think if we could not stay at 318, we probably not come to Grand Cayman.

About Seven Mile Beach

With a backdrop so picturesque, you can almost forgive Seven Mile Beach for only being six-and-a-bit miles long.

Find a Seven Mile Beach vacation rental on the shoreline by using FlipKey, and you'll never want to leave this wonderful stretch of sand.

About Seven Mile Beach

You'll find Seven Mile Beach on the west side of Grand Cayman, the largest of the three Cayman Islands in the Caribbean.

This crescent-shaped beach is known for being one of the best in the Caribbean and is the busiest spot on the island. But don't be put off! The beach is so big, there's always a spot for you, your towel, and maybe an umbrella to keep cool under.

People flock to the area to take advantage of the surf, the sand, the first-class restaurants and millionaire villas that have popped up over the last few decades.

However, dig a little deeper and you'll see remnants of the area that was discovered by Christopher Columbus way back in 1503. You'll probably spot some other influences, too. The Caymans were once grouped with Jamaica and were a British colony until it gained its independence in 1962.

You'll find lots of unusual foods to try out here. Caymanas, the Carib for marine crocodile, is a special treat, but more often than not turtle meat is on the menu. You'll also find plenty of fish, especially conch, served in stews, fried or raw with lime juice and onions.

What to do

A mecca for divers and those who love to snorkel, Seven Mile Beach has a coral reef surrounding it that attracts turtles and tropical fish.

On a Stingray City tour, you can actually stroke the fish without fear of being stung! Starfish Snorkel is another 'must see' if you love getting up close and photographing aquatic life. Both are excellent for little ones.

Experience the island from a bird's perspective by signing up with one of the two parasailing companies. Book a rum distillery tour or, for those with a sweet tooth, visit to the Tortuga Rum Cake Factory in West Bay. Go sailing on a glass bottom boat, or try an underwater submarine trip around George Town Harbor where you may even spot the odd shark. History buffs will also appreciate the old ruins at Bodden Town and the Old Homestead's traditional Caymanian Cottage.

Top Seven Mile Beach travel tips

Seven Mile Beach can become incredibly busy during peak tourist season, so get there early to grab yourself a decent spot.

Look for the sign near the airport on Little Cayman declaring 'Iguanas have the right of way'. It's a great introduction to the area!

A taxi from the airport costs $18 dollars, it's the easiest way to travel since public buses don't always have room for a lot of luggage and, with poor air conditioning, can prove sweltering.

Surround yourself in nature and luxury by visiting Seven Mile Beach. Here, you can combine education with beach fun, by teaching your kids about the underwater marine kingdom that they can paddle in.

Search for a Seven Mile Beach vacation rental on FlipKey and get going! You don't want to miss out on the trip of a lifetime!

An Amazing 7 Mile Beach Experience

We had the opportunity to stay in William's condo, 320. It had a lot of great modern amenities. We were on the southern end of 7 mile beach with wonderful access to a swimming cove and snorkeling. Just moments from Georgetown and Camana Bay meant excellent shopping and dining. It was an amazing family retreat!!see more

Heaven!

I cannot say enough about this condo. The condo itself is beautiful and definitely 5 star. The beach is clean and quiet. The water is clear and calm. We basihad the entire beach area to ourselves for the whole week. There are turtles on the property that you can feed. This made it extra special. The location is fantastic. Can walk to restaurants with no problem. The owner is so informative and helpful. I will definitely be back.see more

Regal Beach Club #223
Very Nice

The location and beach are excellent, and there were always plenty of chairs open on the sand and by the pools (a few of the umbrellas were broken, though, so we had to try to rig them to stay open). Next door to the Marriott, so we frequently went there for breakfast and for beachside cocktails. Also walking distance to a few decent restaurants. The condo was clean with a homey feel (cups, plates, silverware, coffee pot, fridge, stove/oven, microwave, hair dryer, books and movies all available, to name a few things), and the closet had some extra beach toys and towels. The info said there would be maid service, but this did not happen (we stayed Saturday through Wednesday, so I anticipated this issue for Sunday, but when we got there, we also learned that Monday was a holiday, and then no one showed up Tuesday either - I didn't mind this one way or the other, it was just strange since we expected it and had hoped for some fresh towels), and we could not find sheets to fit the fold-out sofa bed (as an aside -- the sofa bed is a bit worn and feels like it couldn't support two adults without collapsing, but the couches themselves were very comfortable in their "couch" state, so don't bother folding out). Plenty of extra pillows, and the condo had two really excellent features -- a beautiful screened in porch with ocean views, and an in-unit clothes washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again.see more
Regal Beach Club #623
Excellent Oceanfront seven mile beach villa

This is our second stay at Regal Beach and we were not disappointed. My wife and I used to go to cramped hotel rooms and pay the same amount but with these two bedroom units, we are able to have lots of space, including a large balcony to enjoy the views from. This unit must have been updated not that long ago. It has high end appliances, granite counters and large flat screen TVs in every room. We loved the furnishing and service we received at the unit. The beach was never crowded and there were always chairs and umbrellas available. If you looked next door at the Marriott, you'd see how they pack everyone into a crowded small beach. This complex is very convenient. It's less that 15mins from the airport. The rental agency "Cayman Villas" arranged to have groceries and liquor delivered to our unit so we could start enjoying it immediately upon arrival. There are lots of restaurants and a car rental all within walking distance of the unit. The only issue I had was the lack of a K-cup machine which was a problem since I had purchased several boxes of coffee. The management came the day after I arrived with a gift bag containing ground coffee and then delivered a K-cup machine on monday. Everyone, including the maid service, was great. The only thing I wish they would add to this complex is an outdoor hot tub. There is a small pool with jets but it is not heated. It overflows into the childrens pool so there is no way to heat it. I supposed they could split the filtration systems and provide both. One owner said they have been discussing this. Maybe one day.see more
