Great apartment, recently renovated, located in the heart of Barcelona.
The apartment location is ideal as it is located 100 meters from Passeig de Gracia and 200 meters from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas.
Also sited only 200 meters away from the metro stations Urquinaona, Passeig de Gracia and Catalunya.
Its privileged location allows you to walk to the main touristic areas, as it is located within walking distance of the Ramblas, the Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter, Sagrada Familia, the Gaudi's most emblematic buildings or representative Barcelona shops.
The spacious living room, a little more than 30 square meters, has a large table to accommodate all occupants.
The seating area has two comfortable sofas, a 32 "TV and DVD.
There is free WiFi throughout the apartment.

One block away from Passeig de Gràcia, one of the major avenues in Barcelona and one of its most important shopping and business areas, containing several of the city's most celebrated pieces of architecture. It is located in the central part of Eixample, stretching from Plaça Catalunya to Carrer Gran de Gràcia.

“Perfect base - grand apparment 10 mins to Ramblas”
Really cracking place, good value for up to 10 people (though this would have been a squeeze; we had 5 and this was spacious for us) and so close to the action of Ramblas. Old style apparment, decorative ceilings and huge shuttered windows give the classic style you think of. This place was essentially 3 DBL bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 SGL bedroom. Plus sofa beds. Master bedroom was excellent, with en-suite. The shower room was small, and also had a broken screen so was out of action from day 2, but once fixed this would be adequate. Kitchen area has entertaining space, as does the dining/living space - so lots of space to eat and chill. But you're here for the sights, and this is a short walk to Ramblas, gothic and even the beach if you feel like a longer walk. The Metro means EVERYTHING in Barca is within easy reach, so it's just really a preference. Do you pay the extra (like we did) for a bit more comfort and position, or spend less and travel more for sights. I'd give the place an 8 out of 10; not higher, because of the shower room size, and the lack of a good view at the window.
