“Perfect in every way” This apartment is a perfect blend of sophistication and comfort. Tastefully decorated and well equipped, it is ideally locally just outside the tourist area so you feel like you get a taste of real Barcelona but close enough to the main attractions for walking. All these aspects would make it a great base for a visit to Barcelona. What makes it particularly special was the very warm welcome from Isobel and the fridge full of goodies that enhanced the welcome. Wine, beer and chocolates are by no means essential but are truly generous gifts that elevate the quality of the stay. I would recommend this apartment to all my friends and very much hope to return in the future

“Absolutely amazing apt., all renovated, totally stocked & no detail forgotten” Wow, wow, wow. Great location with cafes and shops right out the door on beautiful place Gracia and metro just across the street. Brand new furniture, beds and everything you could need in the kitchen (not that we cooked-but you certainly could!) Showers were enormous with great water pressure even when all three were in use. Super soft towels and fluffy robes were placed for all 4 grownups. The owner stocked the kitchen like a 5 star hotel with nespresso pods, coffee creamers, jam, biscuits, tea, coke, beer, water and beautiful welcome treats. Both bedrooms are more than "masters" - perfect for 2 couples traveling with kids or grandparents, extended family etc.-no one feels like they're getting the less nice room. There are automatic shutters that make it so dark, you have to set an alarm or risk sleeping really late. Even though its right on Gracia and it can be a little loud if the windows are open, it it totally quite with the double paned windows. There's also AC in every room that can be individually controlled. There are bluetooth music speakers so you can have music from your phone and state of the art electricity system where you hit one button when you walk out the door and it shuts all the lights out. The two kids bedrooms are quite tight (two twin beds each in a perpendicular arrangement) and no place to hang clothes but had drawer space so it worked fine for us. I can't emphasize enough how everything is just perfect and very high end. The owner was extremely enthusiastic, helpful and responsive to any questions and delighted in showing us all the details. The only downside was the booking process was a bit convoluted with various agencies/contacts and a very inconvenient payment process (other than the initial payment by CC which was great). Since we were the first guests to stay here I believe they will sort the payment process out and add a welcome manual with local grocery, restaurant recommendations, etc. which will make it even more perfect. I am a VRBO owner and am very picky about every detail and I just can't describe what a wonderful experience this was. The owner also had brochures for all the sights, art books, guide books, umbrellas, safety waist packs, first aid kit, beautiful bathroom lotions, cottons pads, and the list goes on. I would definitely recommend this unparalleled property.

“Expectations Met” My wife and I arrived in Barcelona by cruise ship and our daughter and granddaughter (12) arrived by air the same morning. As this was our daughter and granddaughter's first trip to Barcelona, we thought that renting an apartment for a week would give us a more relaxing, family oriented stay. All of our expectations were met. The apartment was a delightful combination of the old and the new and provided a safe and centrally located haven from which we could explore Barcelona. Isabel not only met us on arrival, she also provided us with very good tips for getting around and arranged for airport transportation at the end of our stay. I can only give my highest recommendation for Apt. 1A.

“The location is perfect !!” Montse is an excellent host and the apartment is very nice. It is located relatively close to Las Ramblas (walking distance), a metro stop, and has a few convenience/grocery stores nearby. Although the surrounding neighborhood is not very posh, the area permits guests good accessibility to major attractions. The apartment itself is in great condition and is also spacious. It has a modern feel, is clean and organized, and I felt safe in the building. I highly recommend this listing in Barcelona.

“Enjoyable apartment with many conveniences.” Relaxing quarters with amenities just like home. Able to accommodate family/guests with ease. We thought the location was perfect, easy to navigate the Metro, walking distance to many restaurants, landmarks and shopping. Enjoyed scenery being on the upper level and being outside for morning coffee on balcony. 2nd bathroom just needed the shower attachment fixed.

“Excellent just a wonderful location” This is a small but perfect for purpose apartment for being close to the centre of Barcelona. Mario was so helpful from my very initial enquiry to helping us with our luggage up and down the stairs. We were 1 minute from Las Ramblas and max 5 minutes walk from the Aerobus stop, and were met immediately we arrived. We had 4 great nights in Barcelona. A useful tip there is a little pizza restraurant in the street about 20 metres to the left towards Las Ramblas doesn't look much but if you don't want to go far the food was very good.

“fantastic stay, lovely location, top notch!” A reat flat for ua & the two kids - we loved the location as there are a couple of different metro lines nearby, nice bars and squares to wallk through. The flat was really comfortable with plenty of space - local shops and restaurants were handy. We'd stay again when we next visit Barcelona - Elisenda told us what was going on in the city for NYE and we went along and felt part of the city - we had the best time. Thanks guys for making our holiday in Barcelona extra special.

“Great apartment in city centre” Great location - On The Ramblas (but quiet in the apartment). Easy access to public transport (metro, bus, tourist bus), tourist info, supermarket, fresh food market, restaurants. Excellent facilities (air conditioner, lift, fridge, TV, internet, cooking). Apartment modern, very clean and with a comfortable bed. I would recommend to couples and singles. The owner was very easy to deal with, quick to reply and helpful. “Fantastic holidays and great apartment!!!” We stayed for a week. The apartment was perfectly located next to the Sagrada Familia and well communicated near the metro and bus. “Great central location with all the comforts of home” A very well appointed, comfortable and spacious apartment overlooking Plaza Catalunya. Despite its very central location, this apartment was quiet in a well maintained building with lift. Very comfortably furnished with plenty of space for a family of four. Only a couple of minutes walk to restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarket. The market is only a short walk down the Ramblas. Easy access to metro and buses. Neighbourhood is safe in the evening. Would recommend highly as a great place to stay in Barcelona.
