Why stay with us?
Villa Cocoa Maya's location can't be beat. It is set 20 metres back from the ocean with a white sand beach on the doorstep - if you were any closer to the sea, you'd fall in! Yet it is only a 5 minute stroll into central Candidasa, and is within easy driving distance of most of the sights that eastern Bali has to offer.
Villa Cocoa Maya also has all the services you would expect including attentive staff; daily servicing; a chef who cooks from our varied, reasonably priced menu; car and driver; airport or island transfers; wi-fi and a choice of delicious complimentary breakfasts.
At the same time you can enjoy the privacy, and space, of your own villa with plenty of accommodation, a private infinity swimming pool and garden.
As a full-service villa we allow you to do what you should do best when on holiday - relax!
What accommodation do we offer?
The villa has four very large bedroom suites, sleeping up to 10 people in beds (and an extra two people on mattresses if needed), but we also rent it as a three bedroom for six or fewer guests. The fourth bedroom has two king-size beds which are better suited to children/teenagers sharing or parents sharing with children.
And if small children are part of your group, we offer a complimentary travelling cot for toddlers and an infant cot for a young baby.
The four bedroom suites each have their own bathroom and large lounge areas, with unsurpassed ocean views. Three of the suites also have a private balcony. One suite has two extra-length king size beds. All four bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, bar fridges, TVs and DVD players.
Our lounge and open-plan dining area is set up for relaxation and entertainment, with comfortable couches, a flat-screen TV, cable TV channels, DVD player, music system and books.
We have outside dining for 12 guests to enjoy the beautiful weather, and sun loungers and a Balinese bale when relaxing at the pool or looking at the spectacular ocean views.
What makes us unique?
Location, location, location. The villa is perfectly situated - right on the sea but only a short stroll into central Candidasa. The villa is on a double stand which provides us with a large garden and ample space for our 18-metre infinity pool - even the hotels in Candidasa don't have that much land!
There is fantastic snorkeling right off the beach - just pull on your fins and mask, walk into the water on your doorstep and a beautiful marine world awaits! Or, if you prefer, you can explore on our three free kayaks.
We have chosen our furnishings with great care – ensuring comfort while combining an eclectic mix of contemporary design and magnificent Balinese antiques. We use only high quality linen, fluffy large towels and the best quality mattresses.
Where is the villa situated?
Villa Cocoa Maya is situated in Candidasa, a quiet fishing village in eastern Bali. Candidasa offers shopping, some excellent restaurants and is the gateway to most of the sites that eastern Bali has to offer.
Villa Coca Maya's position on the seafront offers guests unsurpassed snorkeling and water sports, easy access by boat or car to beautiful beaches and sites in the area, and a relaxed holiday in a fully serviced villa.
What to do when you want to venture out?
Villa Cocoa Maya offers limitless opportunities to explore the major sites in eastern Bali. Eastern Bali is also the centre of adventure tourism in Bali including climbing the volcano, Mt Agung; river-rafting; cycling; scuba diving and trekking.
Our car and driver is on hand exclusively for your convenience whenever you need him – he is very knowledgeable and helpful and speaks good English. And, if you need help organising any Balinese adventures, just ask our willing staff.
