Description

Quinta Teca is a quaint country vacation rental home with private pool, surrounded by teak trees (hence the name), located just a 7-minute drive outside the village of Playa Hermosa. The house is inside the private community of Opera Salvaje, an exclusive collection of similar looking private homes.

Newly constructed, Quinta Teca's design is inspired on old Spanish architectural forms and elements. Roofs are covered in rustic Nicaraguan clay tiles that have weathered beautifully. All house rooms are connected by a single sky-lighted and naturally ventilated hallway that starts at the house entrance. The covered balconies off the living room and Master Bedroom are complemented by thick wooden pillars and offer seating that allow for outdoor living and the contemplation of the teak trees as they sway by the breeze rolling down the hill.

The air-conditioned great room offers a spacious living area with a sofa bed and other couches to seat up to 8 people and an internet-connected Blu-ray player and 32" LED flatscreen TV. The dining area has seating for 6 and the full kitchen has a breakfast bar for 4. Wireless or wired internet connection is available for free.

The cozy air-conditioned bedrooms all boast black wrought iron beds with comfortable mattresses, walls adorned with colorfully designed pareos and lofty ceilings with fans. The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed, an ensuite bathroom with combination shower/tub and a walk-in closet with safe box. The second and third bedrooms (Queen and 2 Twins) have large open closets and share a bathroom with shower just outside their doors (this bathroom is not air conditioned).

Outdoors is a good-sized pool (5.75 m x 3.70 m) with lounge chairs and a large charcoal barbecue grill. The pool has depths of 1.50 m (4' 11") in the shallow end and 1.70 m (5' 7") in the deep end.

The driveway is large enough for several cars to park and the garage with automatic gate allows for safe parking of one car.

The community has a roaming security guard at night. The house has decorative wrought iron on all windows and an electronic security alarm for added peace of mind.

Supermarkets and restaurants offer delivery service, so you don't have to spend time driving.

Quinta Teca is the perfect location for surfing Playa Hermosa and exploring the coast down to Manuel Antonio.

The pricing quoted here is for the entire property and the base price is good for up to 6 adults. Additional children ages 3-17 years old are US$15 per person per night and will be automatically added. Children under 3 years old are not charged this fee. The maximum occupancy is for up to 6 adults and 2 children 3-17 years old.

Pets allowed: only dogs of quiet nature. A $26.25 pet fee (plus VAT) per stay per dog will be requested on arrival. This pet fee does not cover damage caused by pet. Dogs must not swim in pool or climb beds or furniture. Dog must be on a leash when walking outdoors. Owners must collect and dispose properly of all dog waste.
