An affordable, creative vacation is waiting for you in Bali.Don't settle for the ordinary hotel or costly resort when you can live graciously in a beautiful and affordable villa. Rumah Tamu is a three bedroom, fully equipped, recently built villa that is serenely secluded and a perfect base to explore Bali: only 15 minutes by car from Ubud's famous restaurants, museums, shops, dance performances and nightlife. Immerse yourself in this tastefully unique house, created by Tamarra Kaida, the writer/photographer of the acclaimed Ogoh ogoh: Balinese Monsters book. Live among pictograph inspired paintings, walk through round doors, enjoy hand carved still life sculpture and discover the flying pterodactyl mobile amidst the woven rafters while relaxing on comfortable designer furniture. You may want to attend a creative writing workshop or learn mask carving from a Balinese teacher. How about a massage in our private spa by a trained local masseuse followed by a dip in your own pool? Enjoy a chef prepared dinner on a candle-lit bale by a bubbling brook or choose to cook your own food in your kitchen. Attend a variety of yoga classes or do your own thing while our friendly staff takes care of your needs. Three bedrooms ( one queen and two singles) with AC sleep 4 persons, two bathrooms, large open living area, kitchen, dining bale, pool and ponds. This is a great place for honeymooners, families, couples and creative folks of all ages. Amenities include:•Wi Fi Internet, 1.5 to 6.0 Mbps. TV/DVD with extensive DVD collection •Private pool. Response from the owner Jakob and Gitte stayed with us for 10 days in February 2016 and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. They are polite, thoughtful, intelligent and creative. They came as guests and left as friends. We particularly enjoyed the drawings they each made of the villa and surroundings.
