Bali Villa M is a three-bedroom holiday home that makes use of Balinese structural style finished in soft-toned contemporary colors. The property is centrally situated on Jalan Mertanadi, which is just 5 minutes to everywhere worth going to in Seminyak and provides access to heart of shopping district, trendy restaurants and bars. With an open design, loft-style room, and a lot of windows, our home feels very open and easy to live in, whether for a week or a month. It is quietly located at the end of the lane to afford sanctuary from the mad tourist crowds but just a stone's throw from everything.
Created to accommodate up to six adult guests, Villa M is a haven of peace that is conducive to social privacy. Alternatively, it is the perfect base for a group of friends or family seeking to explore the island of Bali.

Response from the owner Dear Michael, First of all, we would like to thank you for staying with us and we regret that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We have been in the business for a few years now and has continuously done our best for our clients proven by our past reviews… until yours. This is the first time we’ve had such a review therefore I’ve taken this very seriously and investigated thoroughly the points you mentioned. In which case, I would like to address them to clarify matters. Our villa is in a quiet lane in a very central location of Seminyak. Most of Bali villas are down quiet lanes as the city planning and natural evolution of the island has caused it to be this way. On the main streets are mostly commercial establishments such as shops and restaurants and the ‘lane way’ or gangs as it is called here are for residential and private villas. Have you seen shirts that reads BALI DOGS? Bali is a Hindu island where killing is not allowed so dogs and all sorts of animals abound. One of our neighbors do own 3 dogs that hang around to watch people entering the gang and are very sweet unless provoked. A neighbor 3 houses down has a chicken and a rooster. He does crow in the morning, albeit minimally and only for a short period of time. This I personally know as I live in this house that you stayed in. This has not bothered me nor past guests, but I suppose how noisy it gets is subjective depending on how much hangover you’re having the next day. Our villa is designed to be rustic quaint and we are proud of the maintenance work we do for our villa in keeping it in tip top shape. It has actually just been repainted a couple months ago. I am sorry that 1, NOT 2, of our toilets was not working. I had a look at it yesterday and realized when my staff cleaned the mechanism inside for calcium deposits, he forgot to lock it back into place thus causing the continuous flow of water. About paying for water, we provide unlimited drinking water from our water dispenser. The amount you were quite unhappy to pay for was the damage you caused when you broke the water gallon container, plates, and water dispenser during one of the night parties you had. Please note that what you paid for was just the water container and plates. Unlimited drinking water is free. Aso, we’ve already forgone the water dispenser damage. The airconditioner in the room with 2 single beds is working fine when I came by and is maintained monthly by our team. It is hard to expect the room to get cool if you leave the room door and toilet door, and sometimes windows, open at all times. Just to let you know, I have bought a new AC for the room which is double the original capacity just in case we have guests like you again in the future. We stand by our commitment to service for our guests. I mentioned to you that we usually work with a floating bill for our guests and all cooking, meals, drinks are at grocery cost so please tip our staff. You’ve requested our staff to cook for your every lunch and dinner throughout your stay, at least you can do is be thankful instead of being unappreciative. Our staff does their best with English and is understandable and comprehensible, but maybe not to the level of native English speakers. I apologize for this and will try to improve it. This issue about Bintang prices is a misunderstanding. They asked you start with Rp500k when you asked them to buy the bottles as they would return the change to you after or at the end of your stay with all invoices for proper accounting. Btw, I would like to know where you bought 24 bottles of Bintang for Rp350k as I just came from Carrefour and it costs around Rp420k there for a case of 24. Please let me know where you bought them for Rp350k so I can recommend this to our future guests. Lastly, we understand that traveling with your mates, especially at the age of 17-20 yo for the school holidays is meant to be one big mad party. We’ve all been through that. The thing I’d like to point out is staying in villas means there is a mutual respect between guests and owners. As previously mentioned, life is valued in this island therefore animals and insects abound. We already do regular pest control to keep insects to a minimum (I think you’d have noticed there are almost no mosquitoes.) but leaving your food and 48 beer bottles all over the house all day and night will definitely bring in ants. Our staff has meticulously cleaned after you every morning but the leftovers overnight will still attract ants notwithstanding how well we clean. Also, we do not appreciate your getting our big garden rocks and throwing them, in your intoxicated states, into the pool for fun every night. This has caused major damage to our pool flooring and sides which we haven’t even charged you for. Lastly, our villa was rented to you for a maximum 6 pax and not the 8-10 pax that happens to end up waking up the next morning.
