“Pondok Ernita Villa Legion” We have had an amazing holiday at Pondok Ernita Villa in Legion. Loved the open living areas with both villas having pool views from the lounge areas. The pool was very clean (thanks Ketut for maintaining). The bedrooms were spacious with shelving and wardrobes allowing us to unpack and make our selves at home. Thanks Madae for all your hard work ensuring the villas were clean and beds were made and fresh towels when needed. The location was perfect for us to head out to visit restaurants bars shopping and the beach for sunset. We would have given it a 5 star rating but we had a couple of days with termites in the front villa. Lucky we had fly spray on hand. We located there home and advised Madae to let Anita know so she can get the shelf replaced. We had an issue with air conditioner in front villa. Contacted Anita and this was fixed in a few hours which was great. Would we stay here again....absolutely...

“All around great venue :)” Stayed at the villa with a friend and our partners for 11 nights and have been pleased with all aspects of the Villa, from the moment we made the first contact with Steve he has made it all extremely easy to arrange everything. Location is excellent as you are only a few hundred metres from the beach, beautiful restaurants are at your doorstep with shopping abundant also. Airport transfers were no problem at all, quite a friendly driver who enjoyed a good laugh with us also. The staff at the villa are great and no request was too difficult and anything we required was delivered promptly with a smile :) they even arranged a surprise birthday cake for me on my birthday that was a really lovely touch. could not recommend the villa highly enough, value for money is excellent. perfect spot for a family or for a few couples to stay in for your holiday. fully contained kitchen is great if you feel like cooking yourself whilst here but with the quality of food at your doorstep it is more of a chore so get out and enjoy what is right outside. we will be staying here again without a doubt on our next vacation. Thanks Steve and your wonderful staff for making the holiday so much more enjoyable.

“Great central location and excellent service.” Younger was perfect for our family of four. Quiet and private despite very central location, didn't have to walk far for dinner and shopping. Kids loved the pool. Villa was very clean and comfortable, value for money. Service was excellent, Gabriela and Osvaldo met us when we arrived and assisted above and beyond expectations. Thanks!

“Great Hospitality, Great People... A Great Place To Stay...” Villa Oria 2 was a clean, well situated place to stay. A professional pickup from the airport to the villa was organized by the hostess which enabled a quick clean exit from the airport. As soon as we arrived we were met by the main facilitator, who showed us how everything works and explained to us that the only thing that was required by us, was to sit back and relax. Being first time visitors to Bali, we had our reservations, but they were quickly put to rest by the Villas friendly staff members. We were greeted daily by the Villas cleaners, cooks, and chauffeurs when required. All in all, this place excelled at what we required which was simple... To put our feet up, out of the hustle and bustle of a popular Hotel, and just simply relax. Great job in hosting us Villa Oria 2, we will hopefully be seeing you sooner rather than later.

“Great Stay Yet again” We have stayed at Villa No. 5 a few times now and have no hesitation in returning. The staff are fantastic and friendly. The breakfast is great. The location is good and walking distance to many restaurants. The beds are comfy and the aircon works like a treat. The kids love being able to go in the pool whatever time of the day or night. Would definitely recommend staying here. Pizzas at The Island and the end of the gang are delicious.

“Fantastic” 7 of us girls have just returned from 13 nights in bali staying at Villa Taksu I have been to bali many times but this was my first time in a villa, what a great villa we loved it from the moment we stepped out of the car an were greeted by 2 boys Komang an Dion who looked after us for the 13 nights nothing was to much trouble for these boys from organizing washing to getting credit for our phones or getting any thing we needed for the villa they made our holiday in bali absolutly wonderful, the villa was a 5 min walk to legian street an just a short walk to the beach, we loved every thing about this villa it is older bali style (which is very hard to find in bali now) we stayed 1 night at Villa Tiga one word to describe this villa wow it is brand new same owner Josef. Will we stay at the villas again absolutely I have nothing bad or negative to say about either villas we loved every thing about them. Thank You Josef Komang an Dion for making our holiday for our first time staying in a villa unforgetable we will be back.

“Simply perfect!” After spending our first two nights in a hotel in Bali we moved on to our booking at the Purnama. We are a blended family with two teenage girls and a ten year old boy. We stayed in a total of 3 different places while in Bali and we all voted Purnama our favourite. Purnama is at the end of a gang (alleyway) off the main road. We had a very warm greeting by Iluh the beautiful Balinese manager of this villa. She was very sweet and kind and very happy to make sure all our needs were accomadated. She even gave us a cell phone to use for local calls/ texts and with her number keyed in in case we needed her. The Villa has plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We felt like we had plenty of space. The pool was divine and the kids didn't stay out of it for long. The location is perfect..Walk one way up the gang to the main road or down the other way to the beach. We loved Luna Spa down towards the beach and there is plenty of places to choose to eat. We never felt unsafe both in the Villa or the Gang at night. Cleaning was done daily, fresh towels and pool towels. Our ten year old enjoyed the large TV and DVD player. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend. We also thought would be a great place for three couples. Quiet, private but yet central to a good part of Legion. Thank you to Iluh (she is an asset to Purnama) and Coco. Thank you also Donna for making our booking easy.

“Fantastic Bali Holiday” We loved Barbs Bali apartments, they were so homely with noodles for the kids in the pool and even a stroller and porta cot. The apartment was very clean and the manager was very helpful. All of this made our stay just perfect. The grounds of the Jayakarta were beautiful and only a short walk to the pool and beach. The restuarants were beautiful around the area as well and you just must try Tommys for breakfast. We can't wait to go back next year.

The beach resort of Legian is a little more low key than lively Kuta, attracting a slightly older crowd, as well as surfers from across the globe.
This is definitely the place for a relaxing break, although you’ll find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants here, too. During the summer months, the beaches can get crowded and the nightlife is lively, although there’s not as much of a party atmosphere as there is in Kuta.

What to do
The main attraction here is the beach, and Legian Beach is said to be one of the best places to watch the sunset in Bali. Surfers head for the renowned surf school at Double Six Beach.
Shopping for souvenirs in Bali can be a hit and miss affair, but the best place to practice your haggling skills is Merta Nadi Art Market! Here you’ll find handicrafts and souvenirs including Batiks, Wayang shadow puppets and Balinese wood carvings.
For a family day out, Dream Museum Zone Bali is a popular choice. This 3D art museum is packed with cool 3D murals for some of the best vacation photos you’ve ever seen.
It’s possible to eat cheaply (and well) in Legian, and for the best traditional mie goreng or nasi goreng, the street food cafes offer friendly service and delicious dishes.
Top Legian travel tips
For guaranteed sunshine and little chance of rain, come to Bali from April-June or in September – January is the wettest month, with little chance of relaxing on the beach!
A 10-minute walk along the beach takes you to Seminyak – the fresh produce market here on Jalan Sri Rama opens early and is the best place to shop for cooking supplies.
Walking is the best way to get around Legian, and to avoid the chaotic traffic, walking along the beach is a recommended. Taxis can be expensive, but you can always rent a bike or motorbike to explore further afield.
