“We did not want to leave this stunning peice of paradise” AMAZING! We loved every minute of our stay at Villa Anjani. The villa is stunning, beautifully set out and extremely clean. The staff were all so helpful and professional. Some of the best service I have experienced in Bali so far. You must eat in, the in house cooks prepare beautiful food and it is very reasonably priced. Ask the staff to organise a massage under the palm trees next to your beach, also a very good price. Plenty of space for families with children or even 2 families. 5 good sized bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Loved everything. We will book again and for longer next time. 6/5 stars.

“Most relaxing vacay ever! Gem on the Ocean.” Our family had such a wonderful time at Villa Talia Vashti. We were happy with the location (at first we thought it was too far away from everything) as it was quiet and we were able to get a true sense of Bali; not the Westernized side. The staff were friendly and they were there when we needed them, but did not hover. We felt pampered - every need & question was answered. Tom made a map of Snorkeling in front of the villa! My boys went out quite a bit and loved every minute! We dove Tulamben & Manta Bay - both fantastic dives! We ate breakfast in and dinner most of our time there at the Villa. Who could resist the amazing food and atmosphere only the Villa and staff could create. No grocery shopping, no cooking, no dishes or clean up - a Mom's dream! We did need a driver to get anywhere notable. There were many drivers (for approx $30 a day!!!) on hand. We took a couple day trips to Ubud, Kuta, Padang Bai, Water Palace, temples, ancient villages, and used the driver for lunch or dinner trips. Took us to see the monkeys, water rafting, etc. Highly recommend someone drive you as driving conditions are sketchy. We mostly used Wayan (a local there in Candi Dasa) - he is awesome! *Note: We are a family of 4 (boys 14y & 19y) - American Expats living in Sydney Au. So, by American and Aussie standards - a true gem! This was by far the best and most relaxing vacation we have ever taken. We will be back!

“A magical view” To have a week to unwind at Cocoa Maya after spending five nights at Legian, it was a welcome change. We had the opportunity to unwind, relax and basically do nothing! We absolutely loved the view and the fact that we were right on the beach. The snorkelling was just as good out the front as what it was at White Sand beach. Thanks to the staff for making us feel very welcome.

“An opportunity to experience the unique culture and meet the real people of Bali.” We stayed at Kupu Kupu Villa for a full week in early July 2014. At the end of our visit we found it hard to tear ourself away to resume our normal lives. Situated just a ten minute walk from the township of Candidasa the villa is embedded in a largely undeveloped village where life has changed very little over many decades. The personal staff are sourced from this village (Nyuhtebel) and provide every conceivable service - cooking, cleaning, laundry, maintenance, massage, advice and local knowledge - all in a friendly and interactive way and delivered with a good working knowledge of English. The villa is modern, clean and spotlessly maintained. A minor criticism is the lack of water pressure, which means showering is a 10 to 15 minute activity if you insist on a hot shower, not something that is essential in this climate. Self contained kitchens, comfortable beds, cool breezes, private swimming pool and fabulous views of mountains, bay and paddy fields complete a 5 star experience. Candidasa itself is progressive, catering for locals and tourists alike with a number of cafes, restaurants and hotels providing varied dining and entertainment options. Live music features prominently in a number of bars and restaurants and is of very high quality. It is also easy to arrange a number of water and land based tours and activities all priced very competitively in the local currency. This holiday destination is best suited for active couples or groups of friends with no or older children. A steep driveway and a final approach of 20 - 30 steps make it less convenient for less mobile people, but the outlook is well worth the effort.

“Amazing experience !” My family of 6 spend a most wonderfull holiday in Villa Mandala located in the most beatifully part of Bali which is East Bali. After staying 10 days in Changu before we came to the Villa , this is paradise Talking about luxury...This is it ! The rooms are beautifully decorated and wonderfully comfotable. The 2 swimming pools are just too much !! The one in front of the house next to the dinning room has a most breathtaking view over the strait of Lombok . The staff took very good care of us and produced all kinds of excellent meals from an extensive menu. My 2 sons immediately took there surfboards out and were not seen for hours. We wished we could have stayed longer than the 6 days we had booked. We will be back for sure. !!

“Definitly stay here every time I come Bali” We are staying for our 1 st anniversary. And again thanks a lot for everything. Eventhough we don't have the water supply for the first day due to government water supply pipe break in east bali, you have manage superbly bring in water tank for us in very fast response. This really impress and appreciate. You really care for us.      I came with my wife for anniversary. The Villa is perfect design located sea front.Always nice breez day and night. Normally i find wind only come day or night but your villa is 24 hrs nice wind. So we enjoy a lot on outdoor private pool and jacuzzi.     We always have 3 meals at pool side also. Great meal nice breeze. The food in the villa I find best quality in candidasa area. We never want to go out any restuarant.     The weather always nice even all area of bali had rain. In your area the wind take the rainny cloud away.      The Villa are in perfect condition , clean. With 5 star service from staff. They all service from their heart. Always think for me. I don't even have to think. They will come to ask and prepare my perfect day.     We are so relax and so happy and definitely stay here everytime we come Bali.

“Excellent stay, delicious food and outstanding view.” Service is excellent, staff is reliable, helpfull and friendly. The villa is well equiped and comfortable. Location is unique, rural and between locals. The seaside is most beautiful. Sometimes it can be too windy at the veranda.

“Luxury accommodation in the heart of paradise!” The Villa Surya is a bright new villa with everything you could need for a perfect holiday. The villa sits in a beautiful grounds surrounded by paddy fields and a stones throw from a sandy beach! the infinity pool has a stocked fish pond running along its side which helps you to imagine that you are in the Garden of Eden cooling of in the heart of nature. Alit and Kutut instantly made us feel welcome when we arrived and couldn't do enough for us. Kutut cooked a wide variety of meals that were all delicious and plentiful. they are also willing to organise excursions to other areas of Bali and tourist attractions with one of the knowledgeable drivers, to fishing or diving trips and spa treatments, or massage or yoga lessons in the comfort of your own villa. The villa has a large well furnished rooms with air con in the bedrooms and brilliant Balanise showers in the bathrooms( you shower under the stars) that are kept immaculate by alit and Kutut... We are planning to return to paradise as soon as possible!

“Idyllic Villa Pantai in charming Candidasa” What a wonderful way to spend Easter with a cherished friend. Villa Pantai in Candidasa gave us memories that we will always hold very close to our hearts. The villa itself is beautiful and the staff are a delight and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The views are breathtaking whether it be from the bedrooms or the main entertaining area. It was such a treat to be welcomed by the sound of crashing waves and to be lucky enough to see dolphins swim by as we were enjoying a gorgeous breakfast. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, I hope one day to return.

“Perfect setting” We travelled to Candidasa in Jan 2013 for 8 days (2 adults & 3 kids 11,8 & 4). We stayed in Jogolo and the accommodation was exactly as pictured. It was very comfortable & clean. We all had an amazing stay mostly relaxing by the pool and are all very much looking forward to another stay. We were delighted by the hospitality offered by Iouri and the lovely staff. We have no hesitation recommending the accommodation as it was really lovely.

“Gorgeous view and very relaxing” This villa is very good value for money. What it lacks in not being all 5 star it makes up for in view. We stayed for 6 nights over Christmas. We loved the pool and the outdoor seated area, and swimming in the sea off the rocks at the end of the garden. Because the villa is directly on the water the view is amazing - breezes, views of rocky islands and boats passing by. The bedrooms are comfortable - more like 4 star then 5 (some of the furniture is getting a bit worn). The bathrooms let the property down most - they could do with a repaint and one of the shower heads needed repairing. But considering how little time we spent in the bathrooms and how much time we spent in the outdoor area and pool - this did not worry us. It is just good to know if you are looking for the whole 5 star experience. Like other reviewers we found the staff to be very attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and the meals cooked at the villa were fresh and tasty. We ate out at Vincent's and Bali asli - both were great. We also did snorkeling at the wreck and blue lagoon. Overall both Candidasa and Villa Gita are a lovely find. We have spent a lot of time in Seminkay and Ubud before and wanted something different and more peaceful. We certainly found it!

“Very acomodating Host and Beautiful Villa” It is important to point out this place is a good 5 minute drive (motorbike only) or 30 minute walk away from the main city of Padangbai. Other than that, the villa is absolutely beautiful, a great "get away from it all" as advertised. The hammock was my favorite spot, you could read / eat / sleep in there all day and be completely happy! When we realized how far away it was, Eric was still extremely accommodating and worked out a deal for us to stay in his partner hotel instead!
