The Boot is a unique luxury retreat offering peace and privacy for couples on holiday or for romantic weekends and special occasions. Located in the heart of the Ruby Coast ideally situated for exploring the Abel Tasman and Nelson region.

Nestled within a grove of hazelnut trees, The Boot opens onto a private courtyard surrounded by a fragrant garden. Relax on sunny afternoons and spend lazy evenings dining alfresco beside the outdoor fire. The perfect environment to unwind and enjoy each others company.

Inside, in the lounge there is a comfy couch for you to snuggle up on in front of the open fire.The kitchnette has complimentry tea, coffee and fresh baking for you to enjoy or select a local bottle of wine or beer from the mini bar.The tiled bathroom is equiped for you with toiletries, soft towels,bathrobes, hairdryer and a shower built for two.Up the spiral staircase you'll find the bedroom with a regal queen-sized bed, dark curtains for late morning rises, and a Juliet balcony with views into the courtyard and across the pond.

Breakfast of your choice will be delivered to your door at anytime that suits you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Judy (the owner) a message.

If Judy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
