Description

Uniquely situated on the banks of Portree Bay, with fantastic views of Portree and the Old Man of Storr. The house provides very high standard to offer an exceptionally comfortable and spacious holiday home. The sunny, bright rooms are beautifully decorated and the main rooms enjoy magnificent views of the Loch Portree, hills and coastline There is a large garden and games room with pool and table tennis.

Heatherfield Lodge has large lounge with feature window overlooking Portree Bay, Dining/Kitchen, 3 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed, one with a double and one twin. Cot and High Chair available. There is a fully tiled bathroom and an additional toilet. Cooking by hob/electric oven, central heating, fridge, freezer, auto washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, dishwasher, satellite television and dvd player.

Central heating, electricity, hotwater, bed linen and towels are all included in the weekly charge.

Heatherfield Lodge spectacularly positioned in one of the most scenic and unspoiled areas of Scotland. The dramatic, wild mountains and varied coastlines offer superb opportunities for walking, biking, birdwatching and fishing.

Portree is 3 miles away, Portree is the capital of Skye and has many restaurants, pubs, shops and swimming pool.

“Great location”

Brilliant views especially looking across on to Portree. The grandchildren loved the freedom. It was an ideal location for travelling round the Portree area.

Had an amazing stay here, the house is spacious and in a great location. The views are just beautiful and made the stay extra special. Would definitely recommend to anyone but especially families.

Response from the owner Thank you for the feedback Jennifer. We are glad you had a good week at Heatherfield Lodge. As you indicate, our Website and T&C’s clearly state that Heating and Hot Water are included in the tariff and we only charge for electricity, the charge is at the standard SSE unit rate and is usually £5-£15 for the week. The reason we charge for electricity is due to the fact some groups do not use much electricity and others use the washing machine and tumble dryer a lot. We have very competitive pricing, averaging out the electric charges would impact small groups and low electric users and that is why the charge is separate. However, we will look at including electricity in next year’s rental prices. I am a bit surprised regarding the pillow, as pillows were replaced at the start of the year but we will check them all and replace any required. Thanks again, Kirsteen

How do damage deposits work?
