650 km from Mauritius is the small Paradies of Rodrigues with lonesome Beaches and lovely people.

A must for naturlovers and those who are looking for quietness. Our House 100 m is upon a hillside just 5 minutes away from the coast and the small capital Port Mathurin. There you will find the Restaurants, Banks, rural shops ant the market on Saturdays. From our Terrace you will enjoy the most beautifull sunsets.

A Housemaid/Cook is at you services 6 days per week (except public holidays) and will prepare delicious typical dishes for you.

The new renovated house is furnished for 4 People, and equiped in European standard. There are 2 bedrooms with double with view on sea or garden, 1 bathroom with shower, separate WC. Kitchen, salon, dinning room, terrace, garden with a 180 degrease view to the sea. Small private swimming pool (5 m x 2.25 m)

LEscale is quiet, surroundet by Natur and only 5 minutes from Port Mathurin.

Beautiful beaches like St.Francois and Gravier are easy to reach by Motorbike or 4x2.

A housemaid is at your service 6 days per week except official public holidays and a gardener 2 x /week.

The Housemaid the laundry, ironing, bedrooms and cleaning. She will prepare specialties of the Island, also Indian and Chinese food.

Linen and towels are provided.

Response from the manager Ces clients était ravis pendant les premiers jours d’après la femme de ménage; par la suite, ils ont rencontré quelqu’un sur l’ile qui leur a proposé un logement a un tarif de dernière minute et ils ont cherchés des prétextes pour partir et se faire rembourser; Nous avons demandé a un officier de venir faire un constat et il nous a confirmé que la maison était tout a fait comme décrite sur le net et dans les normes demandé par l’office du tourisme dont nous possédons la licence. Entre temps d’autres familles ont séjourné a L’Escale et ont laissé leur appreciations (sur airbnb par exemple). Le seul point vrai est que la terrasse est dangereuse pour les petits, mais nous prévenons les voyageurs dans nos annonces sur le net; Nous avons tout de meme beaucoup de clients avec de jeunes enfants , car sur demande nous pouvons mettre une barrière . Nous n’avons jamais eu d’infractions a L’Escale ou les environs; Toutes les ouvertures ont des barreaux comme toutes maisons a Rodrigues. Nous avons un manager sur place afin que nos clients aient toujours une personne de confiance en cas de soucis. Ce client nous a dit que si nous ne remboursions pas sous 24 heures, ils laisseraient un mauvais commentaire; Contre remboursement, ils s’en abstiendrait; nous n’avons pas cédé au chantage. ils ont meme laissé d’autres mauvais commentaires sur notre deuxième villa ou ils n’ont jamais mis les pieds .. A noté entre autre: Nous sommes a l’écoute de nos client; Suite a une remarque dernièrement comme quoi la piscine n’était pas “invitante” a se baigner (la peinture s’était écaillé a deux endroits ) nous l’avons aussitôt vidée et rénovée ; Dés le départ des prochains clients fin Julliet , nous allons faire de nouvelles photos et les publier ;
