Seki Cottages, close to Antalya, Alanya, and Side has two bedrooms, housing up to four persons. The more than one-hundred-year-old Seki Cottages have been carefully and beautifully renovated, and are furnished according to modern standards and yet retain a lot from their original character. Seki Cottages have a shared large (14mx7m, 2.00m deep, working between 01.04 - 15.11.) swimming pool with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea. The closest beach (between Kumkoy und Colakli) is just 10 minutes away by car.
The village Seki lies at the tip of the Taurus mountains and is surrounded by pine forests and olive trees. Because of the region's extraordinary beauty, Marc Antony once presented Pamphylia, the area surrounding Seki, as a wedding gift to Cleopatra. Today this strip of land continues to be one of the most impressive regions of the Mediterranean coast. The many ancient sites (Aspendos, Side, Sillyon, Selge, Termessos, Lyrbe, Perge, Sagalassos) especially attract visitors. The old towns of Antalya and Alanya attract guests with their beautiful old houses. The Taurus Mountains are extraordinary rich with very interesting places like caves (Altinbesik, Karain, Zeytintas ), medieval bridges and trade roads (Akseki), traditional old villages with their stone houses (Ormana, Sarihacilar) lakes (Oymapinar - Green Lake), waterfalls (Ucan Selale) fabulous sceneries and last not least most friendly inhabitants.

Twice a day one of us is going to come to check the pool and water the garden, so if you are concerned about your privacy, please let us know in advance.
Please do not wash any of the towels and linens that we have provided. If you let us know, we are happy to supply you with clean towels and linens.
You are welcome to help yourself from the many fruit trees in the garden.

Response from the owner Dear Champ, Thank you very much for taking time to write this review. I am very happy that you enjoyed your time in Seki. Apart from our stone cottages, there are a few other houses for short-term rent in the village. I may be mistaken, but I do not think it was our place that you stayed at. We did not have any guests with dogs stay with us in April 2018. Also we do not and have never charged extra for gas and hot water.

“A beautiful paradise”
A beautiful paradise. This place is an absolute gem. Zehra, the owner of the property, went out of her way to make our stay the most exceptional experience ever. Nothing was too difficult to organise, on arrival we were met with a fridge full of home-made produce straight from the garden, she had so kindly organised the use of four bicycles for mountain biking in the hills behind the cottage, it was a fantastic element to bonus our holiday and it was at no extra cost to us or hassle in rental arrangements. This was one of the finest parts of the holiday – to mountain bike every day just up from the cottage. She also left amazing local contacts for restaurants and places to visit, all of which left us with a real feel for the True life of Turkish people in rural areas.... another plus was the beautiful cottage, inside and out, and the massive pool which we had the luck to have all our own. The many chickens running about the grounds, fruit trees, beautiful pussycats and the local dog all worked to make our holiday and unforgettable stay in turkey. A much much recommended destination and an amazing host.
