Description

Very open and luminous two-storey house with a fresh and colourful design.

Equally unique are the several outdoor spaces: a private garden, a garden-patio and a roof terrace with splendid views of the Plaza San Anton and the San Francisco Monastery ruins. This first convent of the new world is now one of the main tourist attractions and background for the famous Sunday Show with the latin band Bonye ( until 10 pm). A wonderful event to meet people, listen to famous latin songs and dance under the stars, just a few steps away.

The house is located on the Plaza San Anton, a folcloric dominican square with small, colourful wooden houses, benches and a simple basketball court, an inviting space to meet the locals over a game of sports or domino.

And there is so much more to see, the lively neighbourhood, the nearby plaza de Espania, the parque Colon with the cathedral and the calle El Conde. All the major tourist attractions, famous restaurants, bars and clubs are within easy walking distance.

Guarded parking options are available nearby.

There is no public transport to and from the airport, we will be glad to arrange a transfer with our fabulous taxi driver. Jesus is a great guy, drives a comfortable car, speaks spanish and english and offers very competitive airport rates

He also drives you whereever you want to go within the city for 10 USD per hour. This is a great option if you want to see the columbus lighthouse, the caves, more museums or the botanical garden.

Important notes

The DR has increased measures against noise pollution, especially in popular residential neighborhoods will hardly be tolerated anymore, neither by the police nor the neighbors.

Generally our check-in hours are from 3-10 pm. Please contact us before you realize a booking if you desire a different arrival time.
