Description

Summer Moon Villa is a stunningly beautiful villa nestled in village rice fields 10 minutes from the cultural life of Ubud. Sensitively designed by a resident Dutch couple using local materials and techniques, this dream-getaway comfortably sleeps 6 guests (and a baby/toddler cot). All 3 bedrooms feature luxurious four-poster king-sized beds draped romantically with netting, European mattresses and natural down feather pillows and bed covers.

The Space

The 3 bedroom Villa and gardens, private pool, Bale and fully equipped kitchen. There is an additional communal pool (14 metres long). Daily cleaning services, cooked breakfasts each morning, fresh linen, pool and bath towels are all included.

Interaction with Guests

Our onsite Manager Nik will be available as required. He drops by in the mornings to check on guests and works in the office at the complex of 7 Villas. We provide you with a cell/mobile phone and his phone number to call him should you wish to at any time.

Guests always say their favourite things about Summer Moon are Nik the Manager, and the staff who come in to cook your breakfasts and clean daily. It's true. They are so lovely. The other thing I never tire of are the sunrises. Finally, watching fireflies in the rice field at night reminds me of being a child!

House Guidelines

Summer Moon Villa is not a party house!

Our guests come here for the peace and quiet of life near a village and we request that all guests respect that. Smoking outside the villa in the gardens is permitted, however there is no smoking inside the Villa.

The Neighbourhood

Summer Moon offers all the benefits of exotic and tropical Bali, without the business of the beach-side location. Ubud has a focus on well-being and health offering yoga, a fabulous array of local and western foods and varied cultural activities such as Balinese dance. You will love the peace and beauty of the rice fields and watching the sunset over Mount Agung.

Getting Around

Nyoman our driver can be available to you upon request (pay him directly) and we provide contacts of taxi drivers in the area to transport you into town. Summer Moon Villa also rents motor bikes to guests for a small fee.
