Located close to bridge and within walking distance to two oceanfront restaurants. Bright and beachy decor, carpet throughout, well-equipped kitchen, ceiling fans. Highchair, port-a-crib. Books, puzzles. Available for off season monthly rentals.

We are pet friendly. Only for good, non-shedding dogs under 60 pounds. Must let us know if it is more than one dog. When needed, please crate a dog left alone. Dogs are not allowed on couch and beds unless you bring special covers.

You will notice there are no neighbors or structures between you and your private ocean backyard for 180 degrees! From the wrap-around porch, you can see nearby Bald Head Island, plus the Oak Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Pier - all at one breathtaking glance.
This peaceful location is perfect for a vacation. Cyclists can enjoy an invigorating ride on the beach. Runners will like the ideal compacted sand. You can swim, ride waves, or simply sun-bathe. Do yoga on the porch, inhaling the intoxicating ocean breeze. Fix your favorite foods in the kitchen with its spectacular view!
The house provides access to several diverting attractions. Walk to Caswell Beach, a natural turtle sanctuary with more than 55 turtle nests. Enjoy the island's many friendly restaurants. Bike to a lighthouse you can climb. Drive to the charming seaside village of Southport. Take the ferry to Bald Head Island or Fort Fisher to enjoy the Aquarium. Myrtle Beach is great for shopping.
For the most amazing location, there’s a restaurant right at our pier called Koco Kabana. It’s Oceanview and very good food. For Thai food we recommend Thai By The Sea. It’s just a few blocks away from the house. For great Italian food we recommend several restaurants but probably Joseph’s the most. It’s on the intercoastal right by the boat docks and is nice. For a great clean grass fed steak we recommend Traquil Harbor-they deliver to our door —and It’s across the street from the Food Lion. It is not fancy but great vegetables and food. We would also highly recommend you going to Southport for several amazing restaurants there that are very “hole in the wall” but totally classic. That would include Fishy Fishy, Provisions, and Oliver’s. This is for the local seafood. And, plan on walking around the older parts of Southport because it is really charming. Many older homes have survived all the hurricanes for some amazing reason. And it’s romantic.
Best of all, enjoy some healing relaxation in this glorious natural setting. Make this special ocean-side cottage your vacation choice today! This is not a party house. Do not invite many guests over daily. This home is for peaceful beach lovers.
