Description

Spacious three bed bungalow sleeping up to six people set in the picture postcard coastal village of Rottingdean within the City of Brighton & Hove. Approximate 10-15 minute drive or taxi ride from Brighton Center. Off-street parking, wheel chair accessibility and a gorgeous peaceful garden makes this a family favourite. This relaxing bungalow has been awarded 4 stars by Visit England and has been awarded the Gold Standard for excellence in accommodation and services.

Kitchen

The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher, four ring electric hob, tall standing fridge freezer and round table with stools. There is even a wall mounted TV. You can access the garden via the back door and there is also another door to a utility room with washing machine.

Dining Area

The dining area is lovely and light thanks to the door and large window leading to the garden. The wooden table can comfortably seat 6 and there is a small serving hatch to the kitchen.

Living Area

You can't help but sit back and relax in this homely lounge with its 3 arm chairs and 3 seater sofa. The lounge has an open walk way to the dining area.

Bedroom 1

The master bedroom at the front of the bungalow has a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps. There is a dresser with mirror and a TV on the chest of drawers. A built-in mirrored wardrobe completes the room.

Bedroom 2

Tastefully decorated twin room with a tall set of drawers, bedside table with lamp, mirrored built-in wardrobe and wall mounted TV.

Bedroom 3

Typically arranged as a single room, there is another single z-bed if required. You will find a TV, white set of drawers and wardrobe along with a bedside table and lamp.The bedroom benefits from a shower cubicle with hand rail supports and stool to aid with mobility and a separate sink.

Bath with shower overhead, WC and sink with supporting hand rails throughout.

Garden

The patio with bench, chairs and tables runs along the length of the bungalow. The secluded, spacious garden is raised behind the patio and overlooks farmland and the lovely Sussex countryside.

Rottingdean is a peaceful picture postcard coastal village within the City of Brighton & Hove just a short 10-15 minute drive from Brighton city center. Discover Rottigdean's warm friendly atmosphere with quaint tea rooms, cottages & antique shops. Enjoy the coastal under-cliff walks, rugged shoreline and pebble beach. At the heart of Rottingdean is the Green and famous Kipling Gardens where Rudyard Kipling wrote some of his most famous works. With Brighton on your doorstep you have the best of both worlds!

For those without a car there are buses that run from the White Horse Hotel into Brighton every 8 minutes. A taxi ride will cost approximately £12. You can also take the beautiful under cliff walk into the city! There are also buses that run east so that you can explore the Sussex Heritage Coast.

“Superb accomodation in a great location”

Had a fantastic stay at Dean Court Garden. Good quality, spacious, well equipped bungalow to suit a wide range of family ages and requirements. Excellent location, few minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurant and beach with easy public transport links to other places. Recommend the Trellis Garden for afternoon tea, Plough Inn for gastro pub food and White Horse Hotel for drinks on the seafront. Undercliff walk is a great walk to the marina and on into Brighton or hop on Volks Railway. Stayed for a long weekend but could have stayed much longer. Will definately re visit. Booking was well managed. We were met at the property and able to take advantage of an early check in which was greatly appreciated.

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your stay at Dean Court Bungalow. We love welcoming guests and their pets here at City Pad but we ask that owners clear up after their pets and pets are not allowed on the furniture or in beds. The housekeeping team who look after Dean Court Garden and Dean Court Road advised that the garden had been cleaned and the grass cut prior to your arrival and that following your departure they had to carry out the not so pleasant job of clearing dog waste from the patio and the garden. Unfortunately the white bed cover had to be taken off to be dry cleaned and the rug had to be spot cleaned as there were traces of marks/dirt on both of those. I'm very sorry you felt this was a big deduction- the amount covers the cost for the housekeeping team to do those extra jobs following your departure.
