Beautiful loft located in Historical Quito

My wife and I have an apartment in ancient Quito where we spend three precious months each year, surrounded by the high sierra culture and just three blocks from the main square of the city and the presidential palace. We rent it out for the rest of the year and would like you too to see why we talk of a treasure for tourists, literally awesome, on those days when the huge volcanoes down Ecuador’s spine break through the clouds, and absolutely mouth-watering when you see the vast collection of exotic fruits and vegetables crowding the shelves of the traditional markets within a few blocks of the house. Historical Quito,... capital of Ecuador, is a relatively unknown jewel and the most remarkably preserved colonial city in South America. Its extraordinary collection of churches, convents, markets and palaces sit in the narrow valley beneath the imposing bulk of the volcano Pichincha – don’t worry, the last major eruption was three centuries ago, graphically illustrated in huge paintings in Nuestra Señora de la Merced Church – just as they did in the seventeenth century.   Ecuador's just been named Lonely Planet's fourth best country to visit in the world. The only one in Latin and Central america. I certainly appreciated every aspect of this startlingly beautiful and lively country. In Quito I was lucky enough to stay in this superb apartment in the heart of Colonial Quito. The town around is stunning, but the place too was spacious, light, great bed, kitchen and bathroom in a refurbished palace with 24 hour security and a garage slot if you need it. The owner Dani was super helpful, picked us up from the airport and speaks excellent English and Italian. Michael

  Ideal apartment for those interested in exploring Historic Centr

  I stayed in this appartment for a few days in august this year. Its clean, well-equipped (fully-equipped kitchen, washing mashine, etc.) and very safe (there is a guard on duty 24 hours a day). Since it is located within the Historic Centre of Quito, I highly recommend it to everybody interested in seeing and enjoying this part of Ecuador's capital.
